Changes you expecting for T20 WC team before 10th Oct?

As of now Bhuvi is looking to be the weakest link with his iffy fitness. Shardul Thakur for him will be the one change we will definitely need

U dnt develop youngsters in a WC, nyways we SKY, kishen are inexperinced at this level ...u cant have so many. Look at 2 of IPLs most successful franchise - CSK n MI , they dnt discard experienced player . Even SRH has been more successful then RR , SRH has always given importance to experience.

 

Now u need a mix of different kind of player, u cant have same hit n miss batsman in whole lineup. Gaikwad doesnt work alone , experience of FAF n others help him

Just want to remind you that in the only t20 world cup we won, yusuf pathan debuted and opened and joginder bowled the last over. Whether they worked or not, it was the mentality which was important

He always performs in IPl but his Int'l returns are complete opposite.  Last year straight after a gun IPl in UAE he went to Australia & got massacred & eventually dropped in ODIs.  Same thing happens vs England in India when he was dropped after thrashings & Rahul Chahar got his chance in final games.

That first WC. So was new for everyone but you need experience to win tournaments. Good experienced players.

yea but u also had guys like sehwag, bhajji, yuvi agarkar who played for more around 7 yrs or more then irfan, dhoni were also well established

and that side had mix of aggression n smart players.............u cnt just take new kids in name of firepower cricket ignoring every other dynamic involved. A good side is never made covering one aspect..

Why do u think RR struggles every year ? Coz the side is not constructed well

World cup is in Uae so might be handy. Still not a big deal if he is not selected.

Yeah spin attack is actually quite stronger.  Finger spinners have done well in UAE usually.  I will be okay if we don't field a leggie in our XI.  Axar Jaddu both can play & provide batting depth.  Ashwin can come in vs NZ

If we are replacing Bhuvi, it should be with D Chahar who is a better bowler in T20. D Chahar can open the bowling along with Shami, so that Bumrah can be saved for the death/impact overs, Thakur is not as good with the new ball and can be expensive.

 

Thakur should be in the squad replacing one of the many spinners we have R Chahar/Ashwin/Axar.

Bhuvi needs to be replaced, no pace, no lateral movement, not nailing the yorkers. The only skill he has going for him is the slower ball, with his reduced pace, even that is fairly ineffective. D Chahar, Thakur or Siraj any of them would be a significant improvement.

Selectors shud start pondering over 2 guys 

 

• Siraj - Bhuvi hasnt gotten pace or movement anything going on for him till now. 
• Thakur -Since hardik isnt bowling but in place of one left arm spinner, if hardik is fit to bat then he ll goes as batsman alone

no u dnt have a single batsman who can have a strike rate like that in lower middle order , if your looking for someone with better avg
