LordPrabhzy Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Well done QDK.. if proving you are a decent human being by doing a fake gesture whilst ignoring all his great attributes as a captain of this team which was inclusive of everyone, then eff this team and eff this board. coffee_rules, voldy666 and raki05 3
ravishingravi Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Another white white supremacist spotted. So far I thought we only have brown white supremacist in cricketing world. voldy666 1
asterix Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Looks like @New guy is one of the SA Board member… Point to note that DeKock himself is of mixed race. maniac, raki05, voldy666 and 2 others 5

Well if brown skinned Indian can be white supremacist, then half white is born KKK I would say. coffee_rules and asterix 2
coffee_rules Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Sports should not mix with politics unless it is a case of whole country’s establishment is racist like Apartheid. If players are taking the knee on their own, it is fine. But for the board or management to force it on players, it seems authoritarian and fascist, which the liberals are supposed to be against. beetle 1

They replaced him with Qdk, not temba. Only after Qdk couldn't handle it and his form dipped, they made Temba as cap

Faf missing out on the team and Bavuma captaining is clearly racist as well It cannot be merit based for now. One sect of population which consists of majority are not given same conditions to succeed starting from schools. You cannot be all mostly white players respresenting a nation when majority of population is black. That is what has happened so far since 1992. Colored people were mocked as quota picks by white players which Boucher also admitted. Edited October 26, 2021 by putrevus
goose Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 imagine supporting QdK without knowing why he refused to obey the directive. sensible-indian and dilliboy 2
putrevus Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 If QDK thinks he can still get his IPL deal and all other t20 deals then he needs to rethink his position.

But surely representing your country you have to be good enough on merit.

The other side is Black Africans are least interested in cricket
bowl_out Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Sounds like an elementary school. You get punished for not following a meaningless rule thrown in by the management

Second and foremost issue is are they looking all the kids from all black only on dominated areas. Those kids in those areas need some heros. I am not saying it is the right away to do it but when there has been centuries of injustice happening to a group of people , it is hard to overcome that in 20 -30 years. It is like Indian team getting players only from big cities at first not realizing how much talent there is in rural India. Even now big cities kids have so much advantage in India. voldy666 and IndianRenegade 1 1

But would you want to correct that by having lesser players representing India in WC just because they come from rural India? Those players won't be good enough anyway and lose crucial games. If they are good enough they will come through. Black players like Ntini,Rabada,Philander etc have made it on merit and served their country well. Similarly rural players from India. They'd be heroes and inspire people. I agree the schooling and facilities should have quotas to ensure good talent is not wasted.

There is no one right way to do it. But playing majority white players is certainly not the correct way to do it. Zimbabwe has lot of issues administrative side also like corruption .
