Give fricking Pujara lot of credit for sticking out so long putting his body on line and negating over after over. This is why I would still choose Pujara for first test in SA. With Jazbaa and Janoon..

What approach? Most of then got out defending, not playing shots. The only batsmen who scored were actually attacking
afan Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Anderson and Broad getting rested makes no sense at all..I hope the English bowlers helps them get back into this test New guy 1
Lord Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Kohliesque decision to bat first here. Hope Poms get blanked,it will highlight our victory even more Vijy and New guy 2
Serpico Posted December 8, 2021 Author Posted December 8, 2021 No England captain can choose to bowl first at Gabba due to history. Root would have really hoped to lose the toss here but his toss luck backfired on him today. Maybe root and kohli should kiss to neutralize their toss powers
figo6762 Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Talk about hahane getting selected . What hell has Lyon done with Zampa bench warming ? I bet zampa would have got some turn on this wicket even on day one .. sandeep 1

putrevus Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Toss on these wickets is very hard decision. MMQB is very easy, what would the same Hussain say if Aussies piled on runs yesterday. Famous Aussie saying If you win the toss, you bat. If you are in doubt, think about it, then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague, then bat".
sandeep Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Unless England grab early wickets, this has the potential to get real ugly for them. As a neutral I want to see both sides **** the bed, so a 20/2 would set things up nicely. Vijy 1

Frustrated Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Why do Aussies keep picking trash openers like M Harris. The guy averages 22 in tests after playing 10 tests. Isn't Ashes supposed to be a high profile event for them?

Slips a step too deep clearly for that Labu edge, and Stokes with that noball. Still they have a chance to take a wicket or 2 before lunch. But if they don't, they're going to lose this test match today. sage 1
goose Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 thee 3 balls before Stokes no-ball were uncalled no-balls!
