Actually he is producing staggering domestic numbers these days lol He would want a piece of it. His time is gone. We cannot ignore the fact  bowling at 145k gets you into the side faster. If he wants a come back he should bowl at 150k in the IPL even if he goes for 50 runs in 4 overs he can come back. At this age he is not going to do that..

Rishi dhawan if i am not wrong played in 2013 ipl final. If he couldn't make to international level in this much time then he surely isn't quality player. He is around 32 now and his bowling at 120kph is harmful for indian team. His strike rate as batsman in t20s is similar to his bowling speed around 115 - 120kph.

rishi had a bumper VHT season, but the selectors should learn to judiciously use both stats as well as basic skill sets. A disappointing, albeit not entirely unexpected, selection. if we needed a pace-bowling back-up for Hardik/V. Iyer, one could have tried Prerak Mankad instead.
