To be fair he pulled a muscle during the match. We all could see.  I understand seamers getting injured. Spinners, batsmen getting injured at alarming rate is a concern.

Is Natarajan fit and playing any cricket? If fit, he is a decent option. Don't know why he has disappeared for so long.

Nattu is not fully back yet. Instead of sakaria I would rather have khaleel or prithvi raj yarra.

Same thing happened in july in sl. There sky was mos in t20. Now he is gone. Shahrukh khan should have given a go but due to protocol he cant be picked

I doubt if Rohit will go to number 4 throughout the series unless he has to (I mean injury free available players cannot play in M.O.).

Yeah true. He should open and maybe if india is leading 2-0 go to 4. At 4 he is pathetic. No hit  sharma. He cant time the old ball with no field restrictions.

WTF?  It's like someone's doing voodoo on the Indian team.  As soon as a new player starts to assert themselves, some injury cr@p happens.

7 is to high for harshal n qualitatively shardul is a better batsman then him

the thing is because jadeja is back and we also have venky iyer ( both can easily complete 4 overs together and even more) so basically we might need only 4 proper bowlers and india can gamble on including samson in place of thakur and have bumrah siraj chahal bishnoi. 4 proper bowlers but having cushion of 7 proper batsmen.

with this line up if we are chasing we will be in pretty good shape as i dont think lankans will cross 160. The issue is if we bat first then we might need to be a bit conservative as samson kishan are both flaky..so herein we might see chahal being replaced with harshal or thakur as we will face dew again. Heavier than ahmedabad it being north india.

No. It's a way of getting oldies back into the team for quota purposes. They intentionally try and hurt our young lions in training.

Few years ago I listened to Russell Arnold & he said Sri lankans prepare really hard with wet ball due to rainy climate there.  Anyways it will still be hard witb dew for their express pacers.

Hasaranga looks more dangerous against right handers.  We hv kishan,V Iyer and Jadeja.  3 left handers might work in our favour.  Let's see.
