TBH, I dont believe SKY is injured.  He was hitting Sixes 2 days ago against windies for fun.  While fielding also, he was absolutely fine.

How come he gets injured next day ?  By falling down from his chair? 

 

Obviously Not.   I m sure it's a part of our TM's strategy to test our MO bench.   For the 1st time in a decade, our TM is serious about its plan to actually win a damn ICC tournament.

If it is a resting strategy, I am against it.

 

If anything, SKY is a player that needs to be feel comfortable and confident that his place is secured for the WC.

 

Give him the freedom and opportunities to bat for India in the middle order as much as possible. Hitman should not bat or at least come in very later, lets test and push this Indian team and see its capabilities and limitations.

 

We definitely dont need any Boobs or Booms bowling, they both should  not be playing. The latter should be rested, the former should be out of the squad.

So many injuries even to players who have not been in bubbles. Something is seriously rotten with the way player fitness is being managed in the national team.

These players get injured after playing one match and then there fans will blame TM for them not getting regular chances. 

 

Washington Sundar has basically delayed his test career by 2 years due to injuries and will need to prove himself again to make a comeback in Tests. 

Same goes with Gill.

Indians are genetically weak. This hurts "Indian Pride" and sure there are many fit Indians but doesn't change the fact that we are usually unfit.

More like ensuring they don't get hurt before IPL. 

 

Soon IPL will be the norm year round. Sad but it will be mainly tests and IPL /t20. 

 

Odi format will be extinct in the near future.

there seems to be no end to these injuries... except when IPL is around. the solution is therefore to have a year-round IPL so that everyone stays fit

Players who remain perennially injured and play IPL without any fuss should be released from their national contract/should not be considered for national job even if they are available
