Agree but we have to get used to such things with the WTC. NZ made the finals (and won) in the last edition after winning a grand total of zero away Test series'. Until they come up with a system where all teams play uniform number of games against all teams, we have to make do.

Pathetic cowardice from Cummins and boys. Why the heck would you want to bat again with 400 runs cushion when you shot a team for just over 100.Wasted 1.5 sessions. Played a bakwaas spinner in Swapson who wasted 50 plus overs. Aus would have won easily had they shown guts and right bowling changes. Even Labu was getting lots of turn and he was dangerously accurate. Cummins didn't even trust him for few overs. Smith could have rolled his arm for a bit. Lots of dropped chances as well plus that Khwaja repaying his Janmabhoomi by dropping a sitter. 6 catches were dropped. I blame captaincy more than anything. Made a hero out of Gobar Azam

Cummins is a dull captain from the little I have seen - it was easy to pulverize feckless Pommies at home, but in SC his limitations are being exposed. if we give them turners, Aus will get annihilated by Ashwin, Jaddu, Axar. their spin reserves seem to be bare

Highest score by a captain in 4th inning in 150 years pf test match history, Has to be some record breaking effort to save the test by batting over almost two days and Babar played that masterpiece.

The team which went on a winning run in uae under Misbah also had better batting than bowling. Their bowling has been ordinary for some time now, still dining out on past glory when the current crop are mostly around Shabbir Ahmed/Rao Iftikhar level. Excepting for Shaheen ofc who himself has issues with the old ball.

This test was made interesting by Australia. A draw was always the likely result with such a timid pitch.

We are absolutely going to dish out raging turners despite of our short comings against spin,India at home firmly believe in their middle to lower middler order to bail them out

We want 5 days game i think. Will be a pitch with some help for turn throughout the test and some bounce. 

Even on fast bouncy pitches of india like in dharmashala, Aussies will struggle. Indian bowlers especially pacers know how to do well on those tracks. It's not like gabba with springy bounce but a decent effort ball would be effective there. Indian conditions are different. More humid,hot etc. It's a problem for Aussies. 

 

I think either 2-1 or 3-1 India. I believe Aussies will fight hard. They want to beat us badly. We will want to be at our best for sure. I am certain we won't underestimate them.

Even in 2006 tour of Pak by India, we got 2 flat pitches where we had a world record opening partnership between Sehwag & Dravid  and the third was a seamers paradise where we lost badly to Mohammed Asif 

 

I am expecting the third test pitch to be a raging turner
