Shaheen was great in the world t20 but Hassan easily outbowled him in tests. Took a 10fer against South Africa. But I guess Shaheen is the bigger star

those "award winners" mostly strive to boost their own stats, with the except of rizwan IMO

Shaheen, Nagarkoti and Mavi all played same U19 WC. Even in the india pak semi all 3 including porel outbowled Shaheen yet he is today developed into a more than decent international bowler and our 3 are stuck in domestic/injured etc. Shaheen sure got more opportunity out of necessity yet one of our 3 should have done well. Even shaw and gill from same team are struggling to find place in international cricket. Looking back 2018 U19 team was exceptional.

Actually these awards proves how crap the pakistan team is.. that inspite of 3 icc award winners in their side all they won was 2 group league matches in t20 w cup against top sides , 2 test series one against bd and one against saf at home and two away loi series against saf c. That was their report card…

Yes, the 2018 team was like a dream team. Their success has opened the doors of opportunity for next batches of U19 player. The KKR franchise was very nice to Nagarkoti and Mavi, keeping them around despite injury. Its a shame they couldn't put up notable performances despite that level of backing. Even Gill was given solid backing, with opener's slot given to him in all the games. He is not cut out for T20 unfortunately as he can neither muscle the ball coming in at 5-6 nor can he give a flying start like Shaw.

U19 performances mean nothing when it comes to next level.All three of them are still playing IPL and if they cannot perform they have no one else but themselves to blame.
