Gill (prime target for Andu's in-dipper)

Ro (c)

Vihari (likely to fail)

Kohli (inevitable no matter how much we oppose)

Shreyas (who else is there?)

Pant

Shardul

Ashwin (slight edge over Jaddu because of Dukes, drift, CC experience, LHBs in Eng camp including his bunny Stokes)

Umesh/Shami

Siraj/Prasidh

Bumrah

Barring a miracle, Eng should steamroll us.

Battle hardened vs fresh off the boat

Fully fit Eng vs Ind's injury concerns (KL, Jaddu)

Favorable venue for the hosts

Change in captaincy for Eng

High on confidence after series win against previous WTC champions

Fragile Indian batting, Eng looks solid OTOH after a long long time

Better team selection for Eng compared to last time

Many areas of concerns for us.

If prasidh bumrah and shami is picked we have a very good chance of absolutely destroying England. Thakur at 8 is good for balance. Miss jaddu. No sundar so ash will be playing at 7. Hopefully his new look power game helps us.

Pant is ok. Wild but can be a match winner.

Kela in middle is a huge loss.

Gill - could try eeshwaran. Very good game vs swing

Rohit

? Charapathy pujari but it should be Gill here

Sarfraz hopefully but won't happen

Ideally sundar but now it will be vihari

Pant

Just checking the scorecards of Eng-Ned ODI and was amazed to see the depth in England white ball cricket.

Only way they can be beaten is by chasing in a KO game.

Take this for a top 8 in an ODI game. Every single batsman there is as  matchwinner on his own day.

Roy

Bairstow
Root
Stokes ( can bowl)
Morgan
Butler
Livingstone ( can bowl)
Moeen ( can bowl)

In T20s, its the same team minus Root.

Even the backups are not bad- Hales, Billing, Malan, Salt, Vince

Only roy, Morgan  and Livingstone are actual hacks. Rest are all technical power hitters. Class batting. Outstanding.

replace Morgan (a passenger) with the inspirational stokes and bring in the explosive Brook. it will be an even better team.

massive steamrolling coming up. this will mean no series win in Eng thanks to the superstars who abandoned tour and ran off to IPL last yr
