This stupid tournament is all about cashing in on the India-Pakistan angle. We should be playing them as minimally as possible or not at all given their support for cross border terrorism. I hate the fact that every frickin' world cup is rigged to include an India-Pak match. It's all about money, money money. Quite sickening really.

For Pakistan I can understand it. The country and it's cricket is receding. A victory in one off against mighty really rivals boosts their morale. For India, I don't quite get the dancing and singing across the country. Maybe it's pent up emotions.

Actually I am pretty sure it's superior. In a one off they have a better chance. More India plays them better we will line up their bowlers. You can already see that happening from last game. 

 

Pakistan is a good T20 team no doubt. But it's morale can be pulled down quickly in bilateral series.

I think this was an addon to the Ganpati celebration, at least in western states. There are those truck full speakers & fire crackers available, here's another convenient moment to deploy them.

The level of celebration is a determined by the level of pre match hype.

 

I didn't see much hype and therefore much celebration after the win yesterday.

 

Contrast that with the night we beat them at Mohali in the 2011 WC. The celebration went on till 4am. Choc a block from Wilson college till NCPA.

A lot more than when we beat SL in the final and won the cup.

What looks? Looks like Michelin tyre mascot except he is built like a twig.
