Will India go with the pace battery of Bhuvi, Arshdeep, Harshal and Deepak Chahar in their 15-man squad?

As it stands now, for the T20 World Cup in Australia, the most likely replacement for Bumrah would be either Deepak Chahar or Mohammad Shami.

 

Chances of Shami goes lesser as his fitness and game time is in doubts.

 

This means India's pace battery for T20 World Cup 2022 would comprise of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel and the backup option will be Deepak Chahar. That would be your 15 man squad overall.

 

Who do you make of this bowling attack, is it lethal enough to go all the way through and won us our 2nd T20 World Cup under the leadership of Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid.

Siraj was very good yesterday. Executed every yorker at 145-146 kmph in last 2 overs. 

Also Siraj will be good with the new ball in Aus more often than Bhuvi.

I wish we could chuck in Both Siraj &,  Chahar in there over useless Harshal.  Imagine Bishnoi over Ashwin.  A leggie who can bowl in power play is gold standard.

Chahar I am afraid if the ball doesn't swing early then he will find difficult to complete his quota of overs. Harshal can be a wicket taker in middle overs and then he can ball one over in death too.

Looks like I am the only one who thinks Harshal won't be a bad pick in the XI.

I agree that in the first game after his comeback from injury he bowled badly to Wade and gave 22 runs in an over.

Then can't judge him from the 8 over game but after that he has been been bad in very few overs. His 6 runs overs to Tim David and Sams was quite good. Then he gave only 7 in the first game against SA too. So he has shown some spark. 

The problem with playing both Chahar and Arshdeep is that when the ball doesn't swing, the powerplay can turn ugly.

As if Harshal will be any better if wkt is not gripping. Dude has ER of over 9 after playing so many matches. On his good days he goes 9 which are very limited. d chahar is better bowler, batter and fielder than him. Arshdeep and Siraj can cover death overs. Pandya and Axar should cover middle overs.

First I have ever seen of him. Looks great, I definitely would have played him ahead of many bowlers we have. Not to mention the variety of being a left hander too.

 

Cant believe we have Boobi bowling who is a little bit fast than the Aussie girls. Unbelievable the madness that is Indian Cricket.

I don't think there is anyone queing up to support Avesh lol He is part of the problem. Pretty much everyone unanimous on that. As far as Umran goes he is also not the top choice of many fans. But guys like Moshin khan should have been kept on the radar given his fantastic economy of 5.83 in IPL 2022. But they chose his bowling partner in IPL avesh Khan who had ER of 8.72.
