Yuzi chahal gained more popularity because he missed all the matches

Those fans then don't understand cricket.

Chahal, Harshal were actually worse than the main players....Chahal can't field can't bat and his bowling is no more than a lottery.

Harshal is another 3rd class garbage bowler just like Bhuvi or other Trundlers. All those cutters and dip in IPL are just useless, if Rahul Dravid and Rohit still want to play a trundler then select one of Deepak Chahar or Shardul Thakur in the XI as they provide you with batting dimension...anyone else is just a fraud.

Shadab Khan

Hassaranga

Rashid Khan

Adil Rashid

That's what make yuzi chahal one dimensional, that is the reason Ashwin and axar were preferred over him.

Both Shadab Khan and Rashid Khan are also very energetic fielders.

Chahal is a complete liability in the field, one really struggles to hide him. In ODI you can manage somehow, but in T20 where every run matters, he is a liability. The lesser said about batting the better.

Bishnoi is actually a much better prospect. Infact if you look at Lanka they have a very good approach there. They keep on churning out spinners , give them a shelf life of 2-4 years and then as their novelty factor wears of phase them out with new set.

We have enough spinners in domestic to master that approach. There is no reason why we need to stick with same players for 10 yrs particularly when they are one dimensional and fail to evolve against different conditions. These players will continue to mont money in IPL, so not necessarily their financial interests get harmed but by unnecessarily making them permanent fixtures in national team not only makes us predictable and vulnerable against proper opposition's, its also unfair to the loads of talented players who deserve some shot to national fame. Ashwin is another example who should have been discarded from ODI and T20 national setup long back as he has offered nothing in these formats for years other than some law of average performances.
