Makes no sense whatsoever to have KL as keeper with Ishan in the X1! After the humiliation of T20WC, I thought Dravid would have learnt that he backed the wrong horse in KL but he has now doubled down with a sly littl scheme to remove match-winning player Pant for his boy Rahul. This is like daylight robbery!

He has been designated as the next captain of the team purely on the basis of being the most experienced among the contenders. The team management is too stubborn to change their set ways

I am okay if he is actually a contender for opening slot. But when you walk in at 5-6 specially while chasing there is enormous pressure and he just doesn't inspire any confidence in such situations.

KL is turning into Sanjay Manjarekar.

Talented but mentally meek and depressed. 

Our selectors have a habit of mixing up formats and are hell bent of sacrificing Pant the test batsman on basis of his T20 performance.

Something is going on before that interview itself, KL after multiple failures is still hogging the captaincy. 
Pant in Tests is a much better batter than KL, considering he has to repeatedly bat with tail. KL is a non-existent entity under pressure.

We can just say the "peerless" KL and leave it at that.
