Kohli will still drop catches. I think beyond a certain level you cannot improve catching the same way you can work with ground fielding.

The other reason for bad fielding is fitness. Rohit, Shardul, Pant, Ashwin

Foreign coach Phainta lagane wala.  Andy Flower type...  Bowling coach Steyn or Gillespie.

Why many people in Steyn as a coach. I mean, he doesn't have any history and just because someone is a legendary player doesn't mean he will be a good coach.

More than head coach our batting and bowling coaches should be the focus. Look how much better Ishant became as a bowler after getting better coaching at county. We need a similar type of coach for our bowling attack and batting attack now.

head coach also makes a big difference. compare dravid (or even chappell) with wright and kirsten.

While I agree that Dravid needs to go, Kuldeep wasn't played even in Gabba Test when everyone was injured and he was available. So it seems a TM call that is being carried forward.

 

Dravid's big failure is not challenging status quo, but that was always gonna happen.

 

We need a foreign coach to shake up things, though superstars don't want it.

Can India not have an exclusive T20 coach for India?  Mike Hussey is someone i like. Seems like Jagadeesan instead of attributing his recent success to MSD like all the CSKians do he has attributed to Hussey

We had Arun but either he didn't get a persuasive offer to stay on or he was disinterested to continue. We got Rathour for a second term instead!
