some of the players are taking rest from the International tourneys and you think that they will be forced to play domestic? Injured or not, everyone thinks that they are entitled to play for India whenever they want. Playing for the India is privilege and it must be protected. Kohli or bumrah can't get direct entry even if they are fit. They have to prove themselves in Domestic or even IPL every year.

Gumrah should announce retirement immediately and focus primarily on IPeeL.  It will ensure that innocent fans like us would no longer hv to bear the burden of intense confusion/anxiety on wheather or not he is fit before every series ,be it WC or bilaterals.

Seriously. I don't give a crap about him. Sure he is an atg level bowler but the patience of fans is surely running thin with this fellow. Enough is enough. Bs excuses. That's the problem with Indian cricketers. Once they amass wealth, they don't feel motivated to give it their all anymore. If anything it should be the. Opposite. Money clearly isnt an issue, so they should be pushing themselves to be available and perform at the top level. Instead, all we see is our athletes protect their bodies for the cash cow making machine I.e. Ipeel. Gone are the days where players would die to represent their country. 

 

Leave then. Give chances to our hungry lions. We have a whole bunch or lions waiting for an opportunity.

Bumrah has bowled more overs for us in a single test match at times than he bowled for MI in 2 months time. Our fans need to calm down. Pretty sure he wants to be back in Indian colors asap but he has no control over this thing. Long injury layoffs to fast bowlers are not new. If someone is performing badly then it is still okay to tell him that he is not good enough, but trolling him over this injury layoff is just not good. Wonder what he will be feeling reading all these comments.

Calm down lol. Bumrah had made enough for himself way before 2020. He is still doing everything he can to get back. It is natural for us to be frustrated but he has no control over this. 

And yeah lets see how our backups perform in his absence. Siraj already doing well enough to replace him as a leader in tests and ODIs.

In a test match bowlers often bowl 20 to 25 overs. In whole of ipl they can bowl a maximum of 14×4 that 56 overs so a little more than two test games spread over the entire duration of ipl. Context is essential.

He has always been really eager to play test matches and has bowled with full effort for Team India.

Ideally both Jadeja and Bumrah when they get fit. should first play domestic matches to get some match practice because it could be disaster for india that 2 main bowlers will be coming to BGT series without any match practice

What is the status of Prasidh Krishna injury? Is he even playing any domestic games now?

India is better off without this bottler. Umran will become much more threatening and a wicket taking machine by the time world cup begins.

We still have Kartik Tyagi, Kuldeep Sen to choose from. Hangargekar also picked up good amount of wickets in Vijay Hazare Trophy and he can bat as well.
