Last 2 years KL has been averaging close to 50 I believe and he has earned some credits in test level as well as in ODIs... 

 

Its a different matter that he hasnt been playing like Travis Head as some people here want him to

KL has been superb in past 18-24 months, but some of these guys will find a way to criticize him ..we lost the WC final cos of him? heights really. The Bharatanatyam dancer and other FTBs could not survive for few overs and put us in 20/3 position, but blame the guy who applied himself and at least got to 240..yeah it was not match winning, but his fault really?

In last 2 years he has played 20 tests. Has average of 43.28 

 

So his overall test average after 46 test must have been below the current test average of 36.26. Even Jadeja who has stats of as specialist bowler has better test average than Rahul. Washington Sundar also has batting avg of 43 and he is an all rounder. Whereas Rahul as specialist batsman is averaging 36.

yup! he is a loser. The guy who claimed SR is overatted in T20 & the another bowler whom I can't register at the moment, who claimed there is nothing wrong with bowling 6 slower balls not because thats the best game plan for the format but because that is their ability & refuse to adapt to the game should be nowhere near the team. 

 

They are delusional & entitled parasites who belive that the game needs to adapt to their limitations.

He was a losing player from  the moment he arrived, I said this in 2018 itself, this guy is as useless as they come and it is not worth investing anything on this guy.

 

Eight years and counting this  guy is still making sure his team loses .

 

How this guy has played 68 tests is beyond mystery.Dravid was the guy who made sure this loser played in all formats costing India semifinal in 2022 t20.

 

Biggest joke is he has captained India in all formats.

He is the perfect, webster worthy definition of a fraud. Watching his career is like watching a thrilling heist movie, the thief will always escape in the last possible minute

He had the best test series in his career in England scoring 500 runs. Yet managed to find villainous moments. RUnning out Pant for his century,  then unable to survived 20 overs to wear off the new ball effect at lords.  Both played a role  in loss of that test

PS: Doesnt mean that I dont support KL being dropped for the next test series in India. Somehow the hunger to bat & score runs is missing . Sehwag for all his technical foibles had the most 150s among Indian batsmen.

This guy really has nine lives, look at his career arc  in last two years just from England series back in 2024.After scoring a hundred as WK , his god father Dravid  promptly makes him number 4 against England in first test (he knew Pant was coming back ), he promptly plays a very vital role in India losing the test match then disappears enabling India win that series.

 

He then gets another life and comes back as number 6 in Bangladesh series thanks to Gambhir's politics of sidelining Sarfraz  for no reason who did well in the England series in his place.

 

Then first test vs NZ Gambhir pushes this bozo to number 6 and makes Sarfraz number 4 , he does nothing as usual and Sarfraz scores 150 .This guy then disappears other players get the blame for NZ white wash only to resurface as opener in Australia  England and SA.

 

This guy has some unknown forces behind him for him to survive this long even after stinking everywhere.Now he captain of Odi team.

 

 

Thank heavens he is not getting place back in t20 team or he has someone up there who will get him into t20 team also.
