I think this win will trigger other trophies for this Indian team. It will relax them a lot.

Hopefully yes,

We just need to sort out our selections. These Mukesh Kumar's & Avesh Khan's aren't the way forward.

I think they wanted to have a last chance at the trophy after semi-final exit last time. A bit selfish on that respect. But still timely. Not shamelessly extending their careers like many had been saying here.

I don't think selection issues were the reason for 50 over world cup  loss on Nov 19th.

Have they made any mistakes , yes they did but like I said many times bowlers win trophies.

After 2007 , tell me when did bowlers show up in knock out matches.

People don't realize how little help Kohli got in last ten years in knockout matches in t20 world cups.

Yuvi *ed it in 2014 final and Rahane played an awful innings in 2016 Semis vs Windies

Transitions wasn't done properly.

When Gambhir, Sehwag, Yuvi moved out...MSD was ageing and instead of bringing the right replacements we used likes of Rahane as an opener. Dhawan too was a misfit for T20.

Now there are players who play T20 like a T20. Jaiswal, SKY, Rinku, Abhishek etc

That Yuvi was post cancer Yuvi...who lost his hitting prowess and fitness. Selectors brought him back solely on reputation.

Yuvi was finished the moment he was caught with that deadly disease...it took too much from his body.

Good which also means that their aim is Next Odi WC in SA 2027, otherwise they would have retired from Odis too by now

He has only retired from T20, not ODI.. Wish that announcement comes soon too, so they can build a team for 2027 starting right now

I believe Rohit will probably play 2026 in India and retire.

Happy for Kohli. He had no luck in all those years when he was a fricking machine. Finally he got one. And I appreciate that he realised that he is actually blocking next generation's path.

Who was there  in 2014-2016 when Rahane and Dhawan played as openers.Money cannot manufacture talent.

Then came along great KL Rahul , Kohli was jealous of his talent according to many morons here

Jaiswal, SKY and Rinku have come up in recent years, there was nobody there in 2014 to 2019.

Kohli was unlucky too , when he was in his peak ICC decided not to have this t20 world cup for 5 years.

Now  they keep playing this t20 world cup every year.
