Thing is cowards like Harbhajan, Yuvraj only make insinuations on SM. They are (deliberately) strategically vague in what they say publicly, so that they can resort to plausible deniablity when cornered. If you can read between the lines you will see right through their posts, their digs, undermining of others etc. When questioned about the same face to face, they fumble around. 

 

Nepo does the same (cheating saga), Kramnik is at least direct in his accusations no matter how stupid and malicious they are.

If you watch the interview, Ashwin did not ask that question, Harbajan was the one who brought it up. When Ashwin introduced Harbhajan, the latter was the one who said it was good to be talking to the former as there were lots of misconceptions and fake news in the media. So technically Ashwin did not plan to ask that question.

So Bhajji embroiled himself inadvertently lol I know fans used to him jealousbhajan singh. My theory was it was more to do with Yuvraj singh/Ashwin face up when Ashwin was PKXI's captain.

Very weird clip, not sure either of them come across well.

 

For the record i think Harbhajan was a bit jealous of the praise Ashwin got.

 

In his latter years, Harbhajan’s bowling became pedestrian, not really sure why he declined so steeply.

Jealousy is always a factor amongst players, when they see someone better has overtook them.

Its upto the player how they take it up, do they use it as a motivation to improve their game, or do they just want to sulk deep.

 

Players need to realize when is the time to hang up. Which our players dont.

 

Now, as both have retired, they have nothing but just the jokes to talk about as there is no competition between.

One can say he was jealous but he certainly had a point when he meant Ashwin's more than 75-80% wickets were on severely doctored pitches
