Architect of 2 away BGTs

Most impactful player at home for us in our golden run.

Scorer of tough runs, clutch.

Proper gentleman. Grace, class personified.

All the best to the Count, an undisputed legend of Indian cricket.

Plus that 17 home BGT.

We were gone in Bangalore. he saved our ass, double century in Ranchi after conceding a big total and even contributed in the Dharamsala decider.

should have taken him with us in 2024/25

Naah. He was done.

Ro-Ko shouldn't have been a part tbh. This team which went to England should have gone.

Is there's just one player who is better than his numbers suggest, it is Pujara.

Kohli, Pujara, Rahane all ended with much worse numbers due to pitches prepared from 2019-2024

Massively underachieved although contributed in some of the greatest series win. Post 2020-21 BGT He was just shadow of himself.  He made batting against spin bowling look extremely easy, 2012-13 England series where he toyed with Swann and Monty when everyone else was struggling. Along with 2 BGT, Let's not forget his superb knock against SL in 3rd test 2015, that was decider and tough track and he was picked in 3rd test after Rohit had replaced him in earlier tests.

His greatest innings was 123 in Adelaide in 2018 when he single handedly rescued us from 40/4 to a decent total and again made 70odd in the 2nd inng to get us the win and setup our 1st series victory in Aus.

That effort was even better than Dravid's Adelaide 2003 performance.
