vvvslaxman Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 There was once Jadeja was livid with Raina for a rare misfield lol But Raina did not take it seriously. Never seen him lose his wits on the ground. raki05 1

Stan AF Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 The punishment was not enough. Should have been dropped for a year from int'l cricket. Now I remember Matthew Hayden had called him an obnoxious little weed just a year before. And he proved him right. Tillu and Gollum 1 1
Gollum Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 (edited) Harbhajan was 100% guilty in Monkeygate. He is a vile, petty human being. Should never have had a career because he was a blatant chucker, Bedi was right. Even in his final years in IPL, he was chucking like Ajmal, no action against him whatsoever. If Harbhajan was playing post 2015, he would not have got more than 100 test and 200 international wickets. Gollum 1

Yeah, was disappointed in Sachin for supporting him through testimony when earlier he had said he heard nothing. Should have hung him out to dry. GoldenSun and Gollum 2

Yeah, if Ojha couldn't have a career with his action, doubt Harbhajan would have found it easy. Doosra has gone out of the sport, and even at his peak, Bhajji was bang average without doosra. Should have hung him out to dry. Before that tour, Aus came to India for a 7 match ODI series. Monkey chants/mannerisms were directed towards Symonds in some of the venues, and Wankhede even had to ban some of the fans for life. Monkey-chants controversy in Mumbai too Very clear what was going on, our people pretending otherwise (maa ki or Hanuman angle) were/are only lying to themselves. That test was heated, many wrong decisions against us, Hogg abusing Dravid. Under Ponting, those Aussies were very badly behaved and resorted to cheating like claiming bumped catches. I accept all of that. But we should never have responded by dehumanizing a black person in their team.....Indians themselves were dehumanized by colonialists for centuries, even had our people displayed in human zoos in Europe as recent as early 20th century. Aussie board too didn't support Symonds, and he retired in 2008, when he still had another 3-4 years cricket left in him. All the other characters from both sides of that test are now friends through IPL and coaching/commentary gigs...but read that Symonds never recovered, became an alcoholic and now dead (was drunk at the time of car crash). Sachin too placed emphasis on his friendship with Bhajji over justice, a black mark in his otherwise flawless career. Edited August 30, 2025 by Gollum EnterTheVoid and New guy 2
