goose Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 not keen on the elaborate handshake explanation, dedication, and war chat. sky should have said he's only taking questions on the game of cricket. let the gesture speak for itself nevada and MechEng 1 1
singhvivek141 Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 SKY did what he can do in his limited capacity. Players arent at fault, most of them have no choice but to obey to BCCI, which is again a pvt entity and dont have any moral code of conduct. All they care about is money. GOI too cant escape the blame, they have the power to stay any decision by the BCCI. Plus many of the govt politicians have their direct stakes in the state boards and BCCI. Anyway, no point blaming the players...they did their best. No need to harass their family and friends on the Social Media. Thing would have been different had SKY too was found giggling with sofa face or Maulana or some other beggar scum post the game. He didnt do that and he deserves the support. putrevus Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 What is the point in forfeiting the match. They should not have played in this tournament but once they played forfeiting is silly, it will hurt India only. Players did what they felt was right thing to do.

Godi media keeps shielding the govt and directs hate towards these players. Modi and Amit Shah gave a nod to the players to go and play. Modi and Amit Shah gave the instruction to not shake hands. Now Pakistan has lodged a formal complaint with Jay Shah that Indian players have followed his dad's instructions.
mishra Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 Unlike rest I am clear on this. We are not playing bilateral series. We dont visit their country in case there is a multi team tournament. Think thats maximum we can achieve. Contracts of ICC and ACC is between BCCI and ICC or BCCI and ACC. There is limited that can be done on it. I personally is against any matches between India and Pakistan in any Sport in any event format. But I very well understand limitation of our heft. lets not pretend that we are all too mighty. Accept the realities.

Post tournament, I Hope Jay Shah and match referee imposes a fines of USD 11 Million per team for not shaking hands. Both PCB and BBCI have to pay. Also players full match fees to be deducted Next time, It will be PCB advocating that they dont want to play India Edited September 15, 2025 by mishra

Which is what Pakistan is The no handshake gesture was right. There is no rulebook law to shake hands, it is just customary. SKY and team wanted to just play the game as a professional commitment and have no other brotherhood like ties, and were well within their rights to do so. Maybe they should have just let the match referee that they were not planning to do a handshake. The best course of action for Pak should be try and lose to UAE, so they can exit the tournament quietly Master_better and coffee_rules 2
