England test series. We are unlikely to see something similar anytime soon.

Good point 25 days with hardly any interruption went down to the wire on last day of the series. Just an amazing series

14 year old scoring a century, making Rahul Dravid jump from his wheelchair. That was fun to watch, and memorable.

Who knows it maybe the biggest watershed moment in Indian cricket since long.

Moment: Harmanpreet's catch to win us the trophy or Amanjot's winning boundary in the SF. Tie.

Best 3-4 hours was our run chase against Aussie women in the SF. In fact that was the best passage of cricket from any Indian team since Gabba final session.

Saddest moments of 2025

The premature retirement of PIyush "chubby cheeks" Chawla.

Generational talent, passed the eye test and a winner @maniac @Global.Baba @vvvslaxman

Treated disgracefully by national selectors/management hence forced into early retirement at 36 while other fatties continue to get selected.

Amit "pionnering hair treatment" Mishra

Another talent treated shabbily by management/selectors as garbage like Chahal was endlessly recycled instead. @velu Could bat too and nearly made a century in Eng.

Another happy moment was Chakri dismissing Head first ball in CT SF. More than joy, it was relief, because Head was in the mood to deliver another phainta to us. Losing to that C-grade Aussie team in a KO would have been very humiliating.

Even Shreyas Iyer's direct hit run out of Carey in their death overs (one of the most iconic fielding efforts by an Indian in a big game), easily reduced their final total by 20 odd runs, which would have been decisive. That entire game, we were always one step away from losing, credit to all the boys who came clutch. Had Aussies won that they would have crushed Kiwis in the final, no matter how depleted they were....and that would have made a mockery of the sport because they took that event so lightly.

No matter what format, eliminating any Aussie side in an ICC KO should always be rated highly, even as the greatest achievement of that year/decade/century. And we did it to them twice in 2025, one each by our men and women....of course what women did was otherworldly and has no equal in men's cricket.

It's funny to call him a blind slogger or tulla. Do they realize hitting sixes against international bowlers at 14 isn't normal? Hack or whatever

The best moment... Sorry! The Super best moment in cricket in 2025 did not happen in International Test matches or ODI's or International T20's. It happened in Indian domestic matches.

And that was ASHOK hitting 150k's in domestic matches. 2nd best thing was Sakib bowling express. Although don't know how fast.

Kindly prove me wrong :wp2:
