jf1gp_1 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 BCCI is silent and I am glad they are quiet. Free 2 points before we start any tournament. We just beat them thrice, it's a crap team. rahulrulezz 1

vvvslaxman Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I don't give a sh** about BCCI ever with or without Pakistan issue. They are always incompetent buffoons. Chote Shah a nepo kid. This new guy is a staunch ruling party supporter. I have no stake in it as a fan. If those bozos don't play us.. fine. Get lost don't play. Zero_Unit, cowboysfan, New guy and 1 other 4

Every other institution is dammned inefficient, even in the presence of resources. The DNA of this issue is that Indians are quite INEFFICIENT when working with each other.
IndianRenegade Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Worst possible thing would be for BCCI to say something & PCB use those statements to further play victim. rather just whip the votes & ban Pakistan, make it an majority ICC member decision. PCB wants a fight with BCCI, don’t give it to them. Sgattick10 1
Throwaib_Chuckter Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Naqvi ka naach is becoming a seasonal feature. He is a Nachaiya par excellence.

Sentiments are for the sentimental. Keeping it Kachinggg is what matters most for BCCI. To each their own. Edited February 3 by Throwaib_Chuckter New guy and Lord 2
Gollum Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I endorse this silent treatment. Bilkul bhi bhaav mat do inko, they (and Kanglus) are doing all this just for attention and to play victim card. Whatever action we take, should be done silently, ruthlessly, in the ICC boardroom. Also no need to nudge them to play. If they follow through with their threat, this will present us with an opportunity to land the killing blow. For once I am on board with how BCCI is playing its cards. lemsip, IndianRenegade, rahulrulezz and 2 others 1 1 3

NameGoesHere Posted February 3 Posted February 3 If a bhaand on the street comes and takes off their clothes in front of you while gyrating their hips, shouting insults, should you feel humiliated? Then why allow Naqvi’s actions to make you feel humiliated? Let that bhaand dance. Absolutely go after PCB. No mercy. I’m counting on BCCI teaching them a lesson of a lifetime. But letting some nachania dictate your mood… raki05 1

The BCCI has nothing to do with this issue and nothing to gain by making speeches. They have to let the ICC deal with this via sanctions if needed. Obviously BCCI have influence via the ICC as a powerful member but for now, they need to hang back and let this play out. raki05 1
vvvslaxman Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Match will happen. There is too much money in this which helps associate nations and other countries which don't do financially well. This tit for tat move will only hurt them.

I hope to god they don't and do boycott due to josh. Indians should troll them mercilessly and create pressure not to walk back. That means we can get rid of this useless fixture and get to the business of isolating Pakistan. New guy 1

Getting rid of the fixture is not enough. Massive financial penalties for PCB and sanctions would cripple Pak cricket. It would be an extraordinary death blow for Pak cricket. Fools and their media think they are being very brave and giving India a tough time - they don't realize that we are just looking for an excuse to crush their cricket. lol. raki05 1

Yup that's what I meant by isolating Pak. I just hope they don't chicken out. raki05 1

Can never say common sense will prevail with an irrational actor involved. Pakistan knew they can't gain anything by taking this stance yet went ahead and did it anyway. They are clearly trying to be as disruptive as possible and there are no grounds for compromise as they haven't outlined any demands from either the ICC or India. Now that the jazba junoon card has been played to their domestic audience, at a certain stage they have more to gain domestically by doubling down. If I were in their shoes, I would assume the ICC will be as toothless and flat footed as ever and assume there will be no long term disruption. Let's see what actually happens.
