putrevus Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) I was under the impression India should go with 7+4 but cannot given the fragility of batting,every batsman looked petrified except Sanju.Captain and Abhishek are the biggest issues. Abhishek like VC is a limited played and looks like he has no basics to fall back on. I don't think they can play both VC and Kuldeep. Edited March 1 by putrevus

Frustrated Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Today's Eden Garden pitch was an absolute patta. Even Mottie (who is a decent bowler) looked clueless throughout. Yes, opponent batters hv started figuring out Varun C, but I think he has enough variations to come back stronger in the KO. No need for Kuldeep. He is a proven loser (He should play against only Pooks). In crucial games, Kuldeep always sucks. The only time he did something reasonable in a KO game was in CT2025 Final vs NZ, which was on a sluggish spin friendly wicket. (He was substantially complimented by his spin partner Varun C)

He came back well in the later matches. We have stop reacting to every performance. Frustrated 1
