Sooda Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 He bowled well for the A team in the triangular, good Ipl too...should be in the Limited overs squad but not in the test team Bowl_out is right there seems to be a pool of sorts for different formats (hopefully!) I would rest Shami for the NZ odi series and have Bumrah, Dhawal and Kumar in the squad. Bit surprised they replaced ishant with a spinner, probably could have been Shardul instead of Jayant. Also would have thought Kuldeep is a bigger threat than Jayant.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Kulkarni could have been Indias Hadlee. Vilander and Laaloo 2
Mosher Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 2 hours ago, Malcolm Merlyn said: Kulkarni could have been Indias Hadlee. Dhawal was ready for test cricket some 4-5 years back when he was consistently bowling 135-140k and bowling those outswingers and seaming the ball away with very good accuracy. He ran through some Ranji sides during that time. Then he got injured and has been trundling since then. But calling him India's Hadlee is a bit too much.... express bowling 1

There are more chances of Rohit sharma being next tendulkar than dhawal being Hadlee which means a hell no........ I request u watch this featurette on Hadlee to know what hadlee was, Hadlee was a one man army. Dhawal forget being one man army he is someone who is even poor to have on bench. Guys like Hadlee Lillee had attitude in 1st place and then the hard work. This guy has no attitude like many indian bowler and then his laughable body. Those guys worked hard like really hard, dhawal pace has dropped over the year and his weight hasnt increased atleast Ishant sharma has put on some muscle mass. Bowling line n length in domestic against many poor Technique batsman doesnt make any one Hadlee or mcgrath. Watch Hadlee videos and see Dhawal videos, Bowling on green track against batsman with poor technique well he wont find any of that in International cricket. Have a look at the Diff between their Physique before making such laughable comparisons. Hadlee had height and strength. Dhawal bowling his 1st spell around 129k, Something called Halwa for International cricketers . Those guys wont fear stepping down and make a mockery out of his line n length in test matches. Hadlee use to hit the deck hard and dhawal releases the bowl in air which wont trouble anyone much. Edited September 28, 2016 by Ankit_sharma03 Laaloo and Mosher 1 1
singhprakash72 Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Dhawal epitomizes the Product from Great Indian trundler conveyor belt ..the only way he can play in test team if Sami,Bhuvi,Ishant,Yadav,Aaron all get injured at same time tweaker and Mosher 2
Laaloo Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 Dhoni playing his petty politics again and denying full quota of overs to Dhawal. Lord and rkt.india 2
velu Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 dhawal runs faster than he bowls maniac, tweaker and Cricketics 3
MCcricket Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Chawal epitomises poor n mediocrity, no pace, intent, skills, temperament, people who vouch for him don't know what it takes to be successful in international cricket, he is just club class n will never cut it in international cricket as he is very poor in all depts Cricketics and tweaker 2
sandeep Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 I dont know how fast he bowls, but an out of sorts NZ batting line-up took him apart today. Doesn't help his case much. Still better than the likes of Vinay Kumar and Ashok Dinda, I will say that much. tweaker 1
MCcricket Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) I hate to say this but he is worse the VKumar, Dundaa n even Maithun Edited October 26, 2016 by MCcricket Ankit_sharma03 1
Lannister Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 We could have him as a batsman in place of Dhoni. At least brings something worth to the team.

Laaloo Posted January 23, 2017 Author Posted January 23, 2017 We would have won the 3rd ODI if we had Dhawal Kulkarni in the team ahead of the wicketless trundler
Vilander Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 India needs to start unearthing a bowler who bowls 132-136, has conventional swing and is 5'11 tall, does not bat very well but at times manages to defend a bit. Thats borderline good enough case, then they should look for a batsman who averages 38-39 and makes 1 century and 5 50's in about 30 innings. Have WK batmen who average 30 with strike rate of 60+ in tests, to be called an attacking batsman. Have spinners who are good only in India( already have). All team members should have the physical atributes of Bhuv kumar. That would be a truely mediocre team, they will bat and bowl out of their teeth to draw with SL,WI etc... will be awesome and mediocre. Call the team India -Medium. MK55 and express bowling 2
Vilander Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 No one should sport a tatoo or any fashionable haircuts etc, all should be ordinary haircuts and should breath with mouth open. Not very fit a mini paunch and narrow necks are mandatory.
