What was he doing today?.... pushing, probing...

He is not even a shadow of himself who was once an all time great ODI batsman...

So sad but this may be the end of an illustrious career who has redefined the ODI chasing...

Some say Bevan was best ODI BATSMAN but I differ with that..as I truly believe DHONI is the best....

Time to hang up his boots before he makes kapil Dev of himself

Rohit continue to fail on top of the order

Rahane just cant bat in ODIs after ample oppurtunities

Pandya couldnt finish the job either

Shocking run out from Pandey

But but but...

All Dhoni's fault ofcourse.

I never said match was lost because of dhoni....

Why do you even bother? Let them enjoy .

Next match if MS succeds these same people will find someone other reasons to discredit and blame him.

ICF has reached a stage where People wait for MS's failure and ignore every other loophole.

We collapse after Kohli fall, no problem.

Pandey and Pandya needs more maturity no problem.

Rohit, Rahane needs to get themselves moving and not start slow as a snail ut no problem.

Dhoni is just a scapegoat for people in ICF now.

I pity their about situation when he finally retires , like what happened in the drawn test in WI.

The posts/situation/hypocrisy was so hilarious i couldn't stop laughing at times. :cantstop:

They didn't have their favourite scapegoat to blame when india lost (Yes lost, that was a lost and most shambolic performance after having the opposition team down on the mat).

Dhoni is being to extra cautious , other not doing well is not helping him. There comes a time when things dont go for u and its that sought of time and that where other have to take responsibility.

Remember as captain he handled when other were in trouble so now other shud help their captain

Thats where months ago we had this debate that he needs to step down n enjoy his game . But its to late for that now , unfair to give the next captain only 2 yrs.

But he is still putting runs on board and he shouldnt be exactly our worry

I am pretty sure Saha can get those 30 from 60 kind of innings too with better keeping skills and younger reflexes

hmm i think this is a knee jerk. Played as per situation. Even now RR is well within control.

Its just we have lost wickets. I feel MSD of old would have seen this match through. So he is clearly not at his peak. But IMO deserves this spot in the team

I was not talking about the RR. Just the way he was playing the ball....

Yes lets ALWAYS forgive the senior most player and the veteran captain and blame a new guy like Pandya who fought tooth and nail. Disgusting!

I doubt saha would even last that many balls and if his lean phase is still better than other well what would Saha's lean phase be.

That is a really idiotic thing to say without giving anyone a chance. And the same can be said for any legend. Sachin, Gavaskar, Kumble, no one should have retired ever as we did not have ready made legend as replacements. You were once a sane poster but now you are just making more and more ridiculous excuses for Dhoni

Ankit is more neutral guy that you could ever be or even imagine.. A guy which 1980 mindset won't understand it.. So look for those who abused sachin fans blabla and go at them.

Isn't Rohit senior player now ? Virat ? I don't see you complaining about them do I ?

There is a difference between having a failure and losing matches singlehandedly...If Dhoni was out for a 0 or a string of 0's in his last few games, that would be failure

but recently in the WI T20,This game,The ODI in Australia,The T20 in England he has been finishing games by that I mean ensuring loss is completed every single time

Ok Can someone tell me who why a post havent been created like

Disgusting Rahane's innings (29 of 48 balls in powerplay with new ball against which stroke play is easy)

Yes dhoni has not been at his best, yet he was our 2nd best bet in t20wc and even now, are we concerned about that or things going way worst.

Every big international crciketer goes through this phase, even tendulkar had that phase and what about the legend steyn who has been on a downhill in LOI for last 2 yrs. Have we really forgotten the good n bad phases among a top cricketer's career.

If our problem has been a guy whose lean phase still puts him the 2nd best bet , than we are on a wrong line

If our problem is someone who batted slow with lower order batsman with old ball than someone with new ball who had top order players to company , we are lynch picking one player

Lets make a thread -Digusting Rahane innings post and be fair,

Lets make a thread - Poor opening combination of Rohit-dhawan in T20 season this year and be fair.

Yes dhoni hasnt been able to do it for sometime but thats called a lean phase, to be honest i have seen lean phases shittier than this , This is still supreme as we have seen cricketers struggling to put bat on ball in lean phases

Give me a good enough reason for Dhoni to retire 1st. Show me Saha's perfomances to replace dhoni. Saha has been good but not even that much that u will replace him with dhoni who after kohli is bascially the backbone of Indian team.

IF we keep retiring people on lean phases god help us. Talking about kumble n sachin read the circumstances they retired in-

Kumble injured himself and was already struggling with shoulder problem for 2 yrs

Sachin had a string of low scores in 2 yrs

Dhoni was ur 2nd best batsman in T20wc, Played a gud knock in ind-wi game where he failed on one ball, Did well in Ind-Sa, Ind-bang

So where has he failed so much that i ask him to retire, let him fail properly.

He is still timing it well, running well, extremely fit . The problem is the mental adjustment which every cricketer needs time to time.
