coffee_rules
Their lower MO and Tail. Every time they are 6 down before 100, their lower MO and tail rescues. Ours is pathetic after #5, everybody is a tail and play like #11 batsman a.k.a Shami! Brainfade and Switchblade 2 Link to comment

chewy
Difference has been the batting of their all rounders, Stokes, Butler and Curran India’s all rounders Pant, Pandya and Ashwin haven’t matched up with combined runs Link to comment
express bowling
Us losing the toss 4 times out of 4. Has anyone actually seen the results of the actual coin tosses in this series ? We are told on TV that we have lost. Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
us playing 1st 2 test as practice games vijay ,n rahane hasnt improved infact has regressed Bhuvi injury (not only we missed him as bowler but as lower order batsman) Ashwin to is looking not 100% evident in his action and is to casual with his batting Curran n moeen has hurt us as all rounders RAZPOR 1 Link to comment

At our home, Ashwins, Jadejas, etc., would do well too nevada 1 Link to comment
Vilander
Curran in two tests he played. Sick of the guy. our lower middle order is tail theirs is better than their top order. MK55 1 Link to comment
YCCC
Could turn it round, especially if they do well tomorrow and say your top order is the difference. It basically cancels out your **** lower order and vice versa Link to comment

coffee_rules
Moen Ali v/s Ashwin Curran v/s Pandya Butler v/s Pant Openers failed for both teams. Lower MO bailed out in both innings while ours believing in Pandya, Ashwin, Pant failed miserably. It's all about team composition in close matches, Link to comment
Moochad
I think the series is even if the toss was also 2-2. That 2nd test was win toss win test Link to comment
Nikhil_cric
The balance their all-rounders gave them in these conditions is incredible. But these same all-rounders will get exposed brutally overseas including golden boy Curran. His bowling will be cannon fodder when they tour OZ/India. Adi BB 1 Link to comment

Its still not that bad.. this. and to add to that top order batting has been far from adequate with Vijay,Kartik,Rahul & Dhawan being very poor combined . In hindsight it is tempting to blame Ashwin & Pandya . But if we consider them together as 'sum of their parts' they both played their role of specialist batsman & specialist bowler respectively. Both avg: around 41.5 with the bat and 28.5 with the ball combined. And bowlers as a whole satisfactorily did their job. But top 5 batsmen together lost the series Vilander 1 Link to comment
Clarke
The biggest difference in this game was the spinner. Overall in the series it has been Sam Curran. Link to comment
bowl_out
Curran and Moeen. And middle order. Also, I feel Vijay would have done better in the third and fourth Tests where batting conditions got better. He has the right temperament for a patient and long innings. He wouldn’t have done worse than Dhawan or Rahul in the fourth Test. Needlessly sent him back early nevada, Vilander and UrmiSinhaRay 1 2 Link to comment
