Popular Post Switchblade
Quote https://www.crictracker.com/its-the-right-decision-to-leave-out-ms-dhoni-ajit-agarkar/ “The selectors said it’s not the end of the road for him in T20s, which I don’t quite understand. But it’s the right decision as the next T20 World Cup will take place in 2020 and you don’t quite know whether he’s going to last till then. I don’t think his performances his T20 cricket have been good enough or maybe you don’t need him as much as perhaps everyone says that they need him. You’ve got to look forward. When he was the captain, he moved some of the guys and that shows it should be. It doesn’t matter how great the player has been in his career. Eventually, you’ve got to be in the present, which sometimes gets lost,” Agarkar was quoted as saying in ESPNcricinfo. “The selectors might have to answer a bit about what this rest means in T20 cricket, but it seems to be the right call,” the Mumbai chief selector added. Dhoni is currently playing in the five-match ODI series against the Windies. In Australia, the Men in Blue are also scheduled to play three ODIs and Dhoni is likely to be drafted in for the series bearing in mind the fact that he will play next year’s World Cup in England and Wales. sandsaims, Rightarmfast, philcric and 11 others 2 5 7 Link to comment

Nikhil_cric
I'm sure some folks will be relentlessly trolling Sir Aggy after these comments now on social media. Always a pleasure to listen to someone with cricketing common sense. raki05 and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment

We should just forfeit this World Cup lol. Anyway we have no chance of winning this. Might as well make sure that ICC don't make any money out of this. raki05 and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment

Global.Baba
Give this man a high paying post in Indian cricket, preferably selector. Even though he might select one bad apple after 5 good selections just like his bowling Edited October 29, 2018 by Global.Baba UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
