Bumrah's no ball lost us the momentum. I think he bowled well today so far despite the figures. Many of the edges went for boundaries early on.

Honestly never believed Hasan Ali was overall better prospect than Bumrah. But I was wrong about Bumrah not succeeding in tests.

I never rated Haan Ali but I also didn't think Bumrah would be so successful in tests. I'm very happy to be proven wrong this time.

He is not better than either Waqar or Wasim yet. Wasim Akram  was a genius and he might be one of best bowlers ever to have played this game.He might get there with Waqar in terms of wickets but Waqar had more pace in earlier years.

Waqar was damn quick  in his initial years of cricket. But after injury he became medium fast. In  one of the match in 2000 against india (saw from you tube), he was bowling 135-142 ks. So he must be way quicker in his prime.

Wasim n waqar got a lot of wkts from reverse swing......bumrah is yet to enjoy that and when he gets the condition for it he ll be as lethal as anyone. Bumrah, Starc, Rabadda are as good as any past bowler 

In ODI cricket we shudnt even compare bowlers, as margin of error is very limited today. If bumrah has old ball like they did and such huge margin of error his wkts tally wud have been on diff level.

i did not say he was not quick but my point was he was quick as Bumrah and not more.  He was not in Akhtar, Lee category quick.

in 2000, Waqar used to bowl 128-135 and not 135-142.

no bowler currently can get as much reverse as those guys used to get by tempering the ball.

He is not better than either Wasim or Waqar yet. He might never be better than Akram.In odis he has not raised his level in knock out matches just like his captain.
