@varun has been on top of it and has been working on fixing the issues. If you guys notice more issues, please do share. We are looking at few people to transfer the knowledge to among the current staff members, so that we do not face these issues again for longer periods and that whenever a server goes down, these issues can be fixed rite away by staff members. That will certainly help the website. For now, it is a thankless job which Varun and Ravi are doing and we appreciate their efforts but soon it will be important to take over the burden from them as an active mod/admin on ICF is very much the need of the hour for our site.

Thank you to all the members.

Why is site so *ed up badly? in 2020 you don't expect that. Looks like site is dead and not actively maintained?

Problem is not with technology or knowledge. Owners and admins are mostly 30-40 yo people with families and full time work. This website is mostly based on personal interest. So, often it's difficult to spend time to maintain it especially if it requires few hours of work in one go.

No problem. But if site is stable then why bugs and error occurs all of sudden?

Moderation is boring and less engaging work on ICF. Maybe it is because of dip in activity that we are witnessing.

We are happy to welcome people if they want to contribute in other forms.

What can be done:

1. ICF Podcasts (Series name - 22 Yards) - This we used to do earlier during matches, gather around, talk about the match and share our own analysis, upload the recordings. Will be amazing if other people take it up and resume those chats. We can play older matches and discuss.

2. Articles - Write and share our analysis

3. ICF magazine - Using articles and photos clicked by ICFers during matches, maybe we can create magazines and publish it on our site.

4. Social media promotion/handlers

5. Interviews - players, cricket staff/admins, ICF members (I see @Gollum is doing good work there)

6. Clubs and meetups - Create city wise clubs and plan meetings, share pics and experiences.

7. ICF economy - someone to handle betting and ICF money.

8. Banners - If someone can assist us with these, it will be great.

9. Server maitainence - Still exploring how we can do this.

If posters want to know more about @maniac, @Mariyam, @rahulrulezz (subjects of 1st three member interviews) they can bump their interview threads on 'Cricket Talk'  anytime and engage. Hopefully in due course of time all posters have their dedicated interview threads and any time someone wants to know more about (or get some insights from, share fun stories/experiences yada yada) fellow ICFers he/she can use these threads for the same, rather the exchanges be in one place than spread across 20 different threads...for the benefit of all. Hopefully we will get to know each other better and develop a strong community feeling with this initiative.

If you guys have some suggestions/recommendations feel free to share your thoughts here. If you don't like the present format, want to criticize the way we have gone about it so far, this is the place to let us know.
