I was thinking about creating a thread on this rubbish player and you made it, any he/she who defends this mental midget should definitely watch his ugly inning today 0 off 18 lol in which he manage to put bat on ball only 2- 3 times, absolutely pathetic batter who we recycled again n again n again n again only to be rubbish again.

This is not the 1st innings this yr he played a similar one in west indies, were he made 2 runs in 19 balls

 give me all those IPL stats/metrics  and I will flush it in my toilet, this guy is a proven choker not only in batting but also in his wkeeping too, remember how he missed a crucial stumping at crucial time of sohaib masood off ashwin in Asia cup 2014 vs  Pakistan??? hell, he didn't learn a s**t in all those 10+ years of in internationals.

I dont want DK in the team , but the stats are flawed . if you want to compare pull stats of each of these batsmen for their first 75 matches .

Rohit sharma was averaging the same inspite of the backing he got , unlike DK he dint have to make a dozen comabacks into the team . Not every one gets so lucky , hes not made use of the opportunities hes got but the hes far from the worst we have played for 75+ matches

Agree no point in recycling someone for just 3/4 years, we have Samson,pant and ishan, should stick with them ready or not ready should stick with them, at least they will give you something useful, but what will this dk give?? A big fat faaaaaart that's it.

Dhoni has enough clout of his own.

 

He doesn’t need a Karthik to fail to prolong his career. Even if a Pant or Samson were in the team and doing well, Dhoni would still be in the team if he wanted to. Not saying that is the right thing or that he deserves a definite place in the XI. But this thing about him having Karthik picked to look good himself sounds ridiculous

Look at Karthicks stats for this year. He has not done bad at all. One bad innings where everyone failed the knives are out in a hurry.

He has a s/r of 67.96 for the last year. That is downright abysmal.

No business getting chances in 2017.

 

Also too many players playing for their spot in the team-

 

Kuldeep, Iyer,Pandya all got atleast some runs because they were looking to score but Karthik was clearly playing to survive.

 

Same with a Dhoni who showed more intent because he knows that is his only chance surviving on this pitch.

 

We don’t need players playing for their spots...bring in the fearless youngsters.
