Like Chewtiyas

Yeah that is why I said will their ego allow it...trust me I know a thing or 2 about sticking with opinions regardless :wp12:

Crooked Kohli won't care. He will play them if his PR managers say so and even if both help us win the series in SA, Eng and Aus with Bradman/Smith type stats they may never play red ball cricket again. Yahaan bas Bunty kee boli chalti hai.

The answer is obvious but that

would mean they fluffed a big chance in the first test...both Kohli and Shastri are street smart enough to avoid any pain on their egos.

Vijay was 2nd highest run scorer, 100 more than Dhawan.

Vijay has hit 4 centuries in last 9 matches, 5 in last 12.

Dhawan has hit his 4 in 16 and 5 in 24 matches.

Kaun sa current me Dhawan outperforms Vijay?

Current means jo kal hua tha.

16 + 16 > 1 + 13

All you are showing me is previous numbers with very little difference.

Vijay sometimes takes 1 test to get into things. Think back to the 2013 Aus series, SA 2013, where he fails once he usually bounces back.

So give Vijay a rope but not Dhawan. Can I call you biased?

Forget getting into the X1...looking at what is going on right now...Rahul is just 1 or 2 failures away from getting dropped and never being heard from again lol....if I was a Rahul fan I would pray atleast he gets to travel with the squad @Lannister  @jusarrived @sourab10forever

I kind of agree . its not just KL , in general a tough away series like this one any batsmen should play all three matches . its so easy to have 2 or 3 bad innings , a bad start to a series can happen to best .   Coming into the team for second test , is worse ..especially for someone like KL whos never played here before . if the mgmt was not this fickle minded , I would still want him to play for the invaluable experience he can get playing in these conditions ..but since hes expected to score 100 every time just to stay in the team , there is a good chance damage has already been done to what could have potentially great career .

Also from the teams perspective , you dont need players playing for a spot . There is a better chance one off Dhawan/VJ may coming good in the next matches in comparison with Dhawan/KL  or VJ/KL .

Karun Nair got a 300 and after 2-3 games don’t even think he is in the next 5-6 backups right now.

Not his biggest fan , I feel even potentially hes a touch below our normal batting standards but a good batsmen to have around . Unfair nevertheless , so yes KL can easily be discarded with no one noticing it .

I have said this a few times , Rahuls best bet is have an awesome IPL season and build a fan base .

Yeah I didn’t think Nair had it on him either but just talking in terms of how players are treated these days...I mean even if it the greatest fluke ever,if a 300 doesn’t get you an extended run then don’t know what will.
