Moochad Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 I'm not sure, but he seems injured. Jadeja has been substitute fielding both times we have bowled, and only he is not seen on the field... Either way, whether by injury or by strategy, he is missing his prodigous pace, should make way for Bumrah next match express bowling and speedheat 2
gattaca Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) what a way kill one's career @Trichromatic. Poor mesh is done in Internationals now. Edited August 3, 2018 by gattaca
asterix Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Good that Kohli is not giving him any more overs...I hope he doesn’t bowls anymore in this series...
Straight Drive Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Why do we select unfit players in playing 11? In SA series Shami was bowling well under his average pace. Now in England, Umesh Yadav is bowling well under his average speed. If we had one more fit pacer today England would have lost couple of more wickets.

Rabada with 32 tests is already leading the bowling attack for SA, even with Steyn in the team. How many tests do our pacers need to put up the hands and take on the responsibility. Well Rabada had Steyn to teach him the ropes. India doesn't have the proper in-house knowledge and culture to really bring along a young pacer properly and nip off the mistakes in the bud. Not to excuse poor performances, but its a bit of an issue. Too bad Zaheer or Nehra couldn't pull a Dravid and coach the young ones, or at least work with the Sr Team. Zaheer wanted a ton of money I know, but something could have been worked out. The likes of Bharat Arun simply aren't good enough tbh. UrmiSinhaRay, Straight Drive and Suhaan 1 1 1

Also how the think tank makes strategy is next important aspect. Rabada was given ODI and test place in the same year he enjoyed success in Under 19 tourney. He was in form and they rewarded him.Today in 4 years times he has achieved leadership role for a team like SA. Whereas, our think tank will not give chances to new comers. Reasons of playing more FC/List A will be given.Process and all that.We waste the form of the talented players which is so very important in initial debut.Have we given debut to someone like Saffers have given to Rabada.
