We're going to win this match but one thing missing from this freaking test squad in England - no swing bowler. Just lol at not putting someone in it and English conditions. After BK's injury they should have found any trundler who swings it, just to be in the squad. You guys know more about me than Ranji, surely someone could have been chosen.

Ishant is deck type/seam. Shami is seam and Bumrah gets the balls to go in and skid in mainly, unconventional type of surprise package.

Spot on. This is the place and condition where we could have exploited our trundler brigade of swing bowlers back home grinding in duleep trophy.

It still 3rd day lot of time left. Let’s tire Anderson and broad out. Will help us next few matches. They are protected by cloud covers and us throwing wickets. We should grind them to ground.

8 day break before the next test match. I dont think it will be that big of a factor.

Hope Puji and Kohli see off the first session tomorrow. Then grind their bowlers to dust by 4th day lunch. Big ones for Puji and Rahane will help them with their confidence and a 50 for Pant will seal his place for sometime now.

Great.. this is done! now next?

Old legs can’t take much stress. Just need to put them under stress by keeping on field longer and make them bowl. There is a reason why these guys don’t play Odis. Not only that it’s mental game keep them in field till they plead mercy.

My Indian cousin suggested VK lol...he also said Bumrah is a hopeless bat as he can't even score in local matches. I have to say, Bumrah needs to improve his batting, he's not even a number 11, really like number 15. Unacceptable in this day and age.

We have managed to win this match without a genuine swing bowler, but to win this series without one will really be something special. Maybe the selectors thought Yadav was the man as he showed form in the warm ups and does swing it at times.

Pujara inability to rotate strike is hurting the team a lot. This guy makes other batsmen targets to the same bowler again and again. No one is asking him to play shots but he has to rotate strike.

U mean he's lacking the 'intent' of rotating strike ?

Pandya and Pant in next I hope. Pant has cemented his spot for a long run. Really happy for the young guy. Confident and calm, will help him learn even more in his dual role. Saha was mentally pathetic and DK lost his batting bar making Bang suffer and mini cameos in limited overs.
