Yes , I am being optimistic that they will get to 170-180, there is no hope.

just hope they play with a positive frame of mind with out thinking too much about the result, the  likes of Pant,Ashwin,Pandya seems to put too much pressure on themselves with a negative frame of mind. Seems they are already in a 'loser' frame of mind when they are at crease. THat needs to change. Fight and lose, then no problem.

The way I see it. Most of our batsmen are in decent touch at least relatively to how they looked in the first test. Pitch is alright to bat. We may need just 2 batsmen to score big, not very unlikely imo.

Yup. One triple digit partnership from the top 5 and I think we'll get over the line. The pitch is similar to subcontinental pitches. Just need sound application.

agree.. even i felt initially that we could wind down, but looking at the pitch and the way it played, we just need to be confident. the bowling effort was superlative. i dont think the english can match it. lets see how moeen does in second innings. we will know the worth of  ashwin. whether our batsman made moen look like moenitharan or ashwin was crapwin. i hope it is the former..
