Walks ahead of pandey, dhoni, Karthik & rayudu in the team because of his skillset, which is ok types but exists with both bat & ball.

I guess it is better not to overbowl him and keep him as a surprise. Should not attract much attention/ video analysis  and bowl only in crunch matches.

I guess Jadav cementing his place as no.6 for WC.. His major advantage is he is providing a bowling option.  Handy spin option in England where we might not gonna play two spinners. And has couple of decent batting performance other than that England 100, like 75 ball 90 against Eng in the same series, 26 ball 40* in WI, couple of quick 50s against Aus.

 

But his overseas outing (CT and SA series) didn't induce much confidence yet (esp CT final).

I still remember his failure in the CT final, but that maybe due to scoreboard pressure or just lack of experience. If only he was 10 years younger. We should have picked him years ago.

 

I didnt watch this match but his smackdown of Sohail after the 1st innings in the 1st match against Pakistan was pretty epic.

Now one series after come back and he is again injured.

He is 33 and not getting any younger.

But our selectors wasted 5 years of his life. And for whom.  To try out duds like Rayadu and Rahane in LOI who can't play with a strike rate above 75.

 

This guy can bowl, wicket keep and bat at any position... Lowest percentage of dot balls...

 

But this guy is severally underrated.

Rayudu was hated because of where he is from and colour of his skin by these northies and poor kedar doesn't have bambia mafia like sachin did. Sachin chamchas here ll never accept another small guy like Kedar because he is giving tough fight for their midget in history books.

 I see how it works for different players. If pant has good IPl whole forum would sit on his Kock. If Rayudu has good IPL it gets ignored why...just because he is old and doesn't fit in their agenda ?

Yes. Because he's old.  A 20 year old with the potential skillset to replace an aging Dhoni, will obviously attract more enthusiasm and support than an Ambatli who's been given a decent number of opportunities already. 

 

But why let simple facts get in the way of a good whine and self-inflicted regional victim mentality.

Guys like Adam Vokes would have never debuted if Aussie selectors have mindset like yours..  Would have missed out on a gut with average of 61.
