You have to be due to the selection policy even after Ct finals chance was there to include youngsters but they preferred oldies so they failed in having a established middle order.

Need a second Indian team , push for two Indian teams in which ever series applicable. Create a team that is very ODI/T20 specific make it very debutante friendly selection, call it India red or something, let them compete with players that are close to international class but just are not getting selected because of place and let them compete. It will be an alternate stream of revenue and channel for the test team. So have 1 test team, 2 ODI international and 2 t20 international teams.  Give one to Kolhi and one to Rohit sharma, i would pay to watch them have a go at each other.

khaleel will be in world cup team for sure, the way he bowled on a PATTA wicket yesterday and literally defeated hongkong on his own was admirable.

Khaleel is made for bigger things specially the way he bowled on his debut not just fast but also bringing in the slow balls.

he will be played in the asia cup and he will become a big bowler like Bumrah has become and very soon play tests too.

SID wont get a chance in the 11 as I dont see Rohit or VIRAT taking a foolish decision of playing Sid Ahead of a LEFT ARM QUICK Khaleel. Khaleeel can be played ahead of Bhuvi too.

Than we hv 3 proper pacers

2 good spinners 

And 1 part time spinners

 

This combination looks even better than with pandya..

Dont forget jadega is a gun fielder as well

Chahal doesn't put on the revs on the ball that Kuldeep does. The point is you need someone who can bowl round arm 90 kph darts on these wickets with low bounce. Jadeja is probably the best darter in the country and he could be lethal if jadhav s performance is anything to go by.
