Had Jadeja taken that 1 run, he would have been made a hero and everyone would have been talking about it.Many a slip between the cup and the lip.

Have to say that he really played well.

His idea was right .... wanted to lob the ball over the packed infield .... but found the fielder. May be should have gone all out for a big hit .... right idea, bad execution .... tied the game for Ind so no big deal. AFG will get encouragement .... better luck next time!

He won it..india score 254. Ball that hits the rope on the full is 6 since the inner most edge of any boundary rope structure signifies the end of the playing field.

But happy for Afgans they deserved a tie.

I feel Rashid Khan kind of set him up. I guess he expected him to just try and play it over infield rather than muscle it, which most batsmen do at that point. The length was short and Jadeja skied it more than he wanted to.

Wait what happened ? Didn't watch the match after Raul departed

Afg bowled very well. Dhoni and DK were wrongly given out. Jadeja hit a six it hit the rope in full but was given four ..the muppet hit a ball straight to fielder when he had 1 to get in 2 balls lol..

Afghanistan....the only other team apart from India, which was not thrashed in this Asia cup. Sad, that they didn't make it to the finals.

He was in panick mode even while playing with Kuldeep.Kuldeep looked very relaxed and assured on crease than him. He just somehow connected that Rashid's ball in last over.and that's it.

He was never going to finish it for India and never will. The guy has screwed us so many times in batting from 2009 WT20 against England,Chasing 350 against Australia when Sachin scored 175.Even 2 years ago at Canberra he was just doing tuk tuking with tailenders when target was in reach. Compared to that, the yesterday inning was upgrade.Should be nowhere near ODI squad.Pathetic that this guy has 3 triple centuries in Ranji.

and not to forget manic running between the wickets.even yesterday he should not have forced kuldeep fr a 3rd,m knowing the fact he is a slow runner. have seen him run blindly even before

He has always been a mediocre bat in LOIs, otherwise he would be an automatic selection. Even after playing in the IPL after years he can't power/time 4 or 6s like a Pandya. We need to find a new spin allrounder who can give us some pop down the order!
