Bhajji picks Saini for his WC Squad and says we dont need a backup keeper

Rarely i find agreeing with him, few days ago i did keep a backup keeper but here bhajji makes sense. He makes sense here

 

• We have Rahul so no need for a backup keeper , rather take 4 seamer and 3 spinners
• Saini ahead of chahar due to his speed 
• Had i been selector i wud have take rayudu 
• Dont agree on his opinion on jaddu batting- its not that he lacks runs due to batting at 7 but look at his s/r at 7 its around 82

I actually agree with Bhajji,why do we need a backup keeper when there is 0% chance he will ever play with MS being a super fit guy who never misses games.DK and Pant are not good enough to play as batsmen .

Yes, makes sense.. Dhoni isn't going to miss a single game..

 

Rahul is in great touch, and with Dhawan/Rohit being in scratchy form, Rahul is a must in the squad..

 

Get Vijay Shankar for 4, and have both Jadeja and Saini in the squad.

Will be a mistake not to include Navdeep in 15, such a rare exciting talent. Pace and accuracy , he possesses a rare combination for a new paceman. On current form, after Bumra , he is the best Indian pacer, even ahead of Shami and Bhuvi.

Doubt Saini will be considered ahead of Yadav and even Ishant. I fully expect Dhoni's old pets to be back in the squad. It will be one last reunion and the same was said about 2015 WC.

Agree with Bhajan. We don't need a backup keeper. Dhoni should sit at home and pant should be the only keeper in squad.

Pant and Dk have not done enough .

If Rahul  is in the team ,then no need for back up keeper.

 

But if biryani is going ...then it does not make sense because both Pant and DK are far better than that biryani .
