Now tell me wise guys: prefer Bhuvi's economy or Shami's wickets?

I think Bhuvi would have bowled better at the death last few overs better than Shami. No doubt Shami is the better bowler up front or in the middle overs. I think all 3 of BBS should be played , especially if pitch is not supporting spinners like today.

Shami bowled well but we still gave away 340 run score. This shows he was ineffective with the new ball when we most needed.

Also, If someone is out of the team, he doesn’t need to be criticized.

Shami overall has bowled brilliantly and deserve to play ahead of Bhuvi for now. But fact remains that Bhuvi is as good if not better or worse.

Both group of supporters need to move on and accept.

Let me just re iterate the concept- you want wickets as it reduces the number of runs needed. What's the point of someone like Shami who gets wickets but then causes more damage and upheaval with his runs leakage. Given me Bhuvi's economy and death bowling attributes any time

Prefer shami wkts

255 needed in 30 overs. It could have been a challenge relatively if chasing in 50 overs, and we place ourselves in a position to achieve that it 30 :clap2:

Wtf does that even mean. :cantstop:  All three results are possible : is good better or worse.

In short you mean nothing. :hysterical:

In short, nothing kuch to choose. Since Shami got wickets for now,

he plays as its absurd to drop someone with 13 wickets. So that shouldn’t even be question who plays for now.

Shami didn't bowl that well, but to me the big issue was our spin twins.

The biggest issue was Dhoni/Dar & then KL/Rohit in the PP, no way we'll even chase 300 with such pathetic opening!

But we already knew that Rohit is the sluggiest of slow starters and that KLR is a mental midget. I was expecting more from the much-hyped spin twins with their "great" career avgs of 25 and 22. instead, they totally failed to deceive. agree with you that Dhoni and Dar were culpable to a large degree.

This was a really flat pitch & that non review really screwed us, also very short boundary on one side. There's no way overrated Woakes gets away with 3 maidens against SRT/Sehwag/Dada/Dravid in the first PP.

With Dhawan-Rohit, it would have been different. the general template was for dhawan to accelerate at beginning and slow down a bit later, with rohit picking up the tempo. KLR has been the main culprit and even VK has been tuk-tuking to some extent this WC. what we need is an explosive opener to complement Rohit. I'd like to see Pant open against Bang and SL. he can make use of the fielding restrictions, but the main issue is that he tries to slog too often, loses his shape and plays false shots.

Idk about shami but you have to get rid of that bhuvi asap from tests & odis. He will get injured in key test tours and is useless in subcontinent type of pitches. I would be literally done with indian cricket if i have to watch that thakela bowler bhuvi in odis again.

I thought after the absolute thrashing we got from kiwis where we couldn't get a single top order wicket quickly while kiwi bowlers regularly took our top order wickets, some speed gun worshipers will come out of their stupidity. Apparently not

Every single time we have struggled overseas its because we couldn't take early wickets

And the lie about useless in subcontinent when bhuvi averages 26 in tests in india. Keep lying and keep getting thrashed. Where every single team has a balanced pace/swing attack our pace ke pujaris still jerk off over speed guns

Dude can't maintain his fitness for key overseas tours and don't give me bs stats in subcontinent i think even kid would know that this guy is not made to bowl on these kind of pitches. It's just that he gets mostly picked on helpful pitches in subcontinent. Also if he was fit he would have been decent addition but the way you are trying portray him as if we missed some richard hadlee on these overseas tours. Wake up he is just not fit to play 4 or 5 match overseas tours even with his 125kph thunderbolts.

And who played that semifinal . It was Bhuvi whose innocuous bowling in initial overs cost that match.
