Remember 2007? That was a first round exit. Not one player lost his spot for the next tour

Neither does Kohli lose his captaincy despite insipid and gutless moves

Nor does Dhoni lose his place

Nor does MSK lose his position....

Everyone got away scot-free.

No accountability.

Move on.

Amen!

CoA have now made these jokers even more powerful on selection matters. They have become totally independent and can do as they please. Imagine these bunch of clowns running the show on their own!

got A feeling changes are coming

No chance. Rat will see Indian cricket getting destroyed. He won't sleep until the job is done. Dhoni, wellm is Dhoni. He is doing service to the country by still playing.

Every team sucked at some point in the world cup. India was the most consistent among all the sides despite many flaws.  There will be casualties.  Shankar may not play for India for sometime. KKD can kiss good bye to representing India anymore. Among the major changes expected,  Dhoni's exclusion is one. But looking at how powerful his brand is, it is unlikely to happen.

Check out Kohli's Instagram if you have got time. Man seems to be having the time of his life.

Look at his recent antics.  Defending Smith on the ground. Going over the top about Williamson. Sharing laughs with opponents on the field. He is building a good boy image. At this point that his priority more than showing desperation in winning atleast one trophy under his captaincy.

No, he's servicing himself. I'm not sure how that works, but he does seem to be pulling that off

Haven't you seen M.S.Dhoni, the movie? He clearly mentions how he is doing service by playing for the country.

Current selectors’ term is expected to end soon so they are not likely to make wholesale changes

Split captaincy is not likely work too if Virat is playing all the formats, Rohit has probably played his last ODI World Cup so we need a young vice captain who can take over the reins if required post 2020 or 2021. If that happens, Virat will probably have to quit captaincy in all formats in future with test specialist like Pujara given the responsibilities in tests

Did you expect any changes?

We should have won test series in SA but lost. Any changes?

We should have won in England, but lost? Changes? No.

Should have won WC too. But could not make to even final.

I'll be happy with the exit of Shastri only. But even that'll happen? No.

With that middle order, we would've needed a lot of luck to win the World Cup. Luck that took us to the semis in the first place, what with all those dropped catches off Rohit Sharma.

Kohli's captaincy quite good throughout the WC.

So they all got away scot-free --> What were you expecting? This country is quite happy with being a run-of-the-mill average team insofar as multi-nation tourneys are concerned. People are happy with SFs/Fs.
