My grivence is him not being able to build a strong odi middle order. Also dhoni will now return to t20 setup. You're joking, most of our wins have come from being front-runners &/or under-strength Opposition in S.E.N.A. FFS we haven't been able to chase modest totals even with chase master Brat in the squad, let alone repeat the heroics of Adelaide or Kandy from the last decade! When was the last time you remember India winning a test abroad, coming from behind & no WI or SL don't count? Now before you bring in the team of 2k just recall who they faced, especially Oz & SA greats & see the opposition now! Edited August 16, 2019 by R!TTER nevada and Khota 1 1 Link to comment

SL won in SA becuase one of the guys played all time great knock. Our batsmen barring Kohli couldn't put bat on ball for majority of the series.FFS do you expect miracles with guys like Rahul and suddenly aged Vijay as an openers. They still competed in every single test.Which is far better than any other team from India. What great resources are available there is no single great batsman in the country after Kohli. He is a coach not a miracle worker who will create players out of thin air. Problem is not virat the batsman it is his captaincy. Why did he continue playing Vijay and Rahul even when they haven't been scoring anything from past 2yrs.Dhawan as test opener is another blunder. And the biggest joke ever is he dropped pujara for Rahul in 1st eng match which we lost by 31 runs. Link to comment

Our openers couldnt put bat on ball and people are expecting miracles. If Shastri and Kohli keep doing what they have been doing they will be just fine.Kohli the batsman has to step up in critical spots to help Kohli the captain. Kohli is already the best Indian test captain. Dude are u drunk - we lost england series cos of poor selections we lost World Cup semi from not selecting shami and selecting rayudu for god knows how much time as well as Shankar and Jadhav South Africa too cos we were poor in selections poor captainship , selfishness and greed for power had led to our cupboard bare in t20 and odi in tests we are fortunate to have the strongest all weather attack hence we are winning inspite of kohli - still they are selecting sharma in tests and not giving players like Panchal Iyer or Nair chances to play . Kohli li is the most wonderful bwtsman and the most horrible leader we have had . I would settle for a decent batter but good captain and a decent human being - it’s plainly evident he has become bigger than life and him and dhoni will ensure more pain for us . No accountability and dancing on the whims and fancies of a disgraceful captain. It's time to give up on this sport folks. A coach who feels very proud after getting pounded with a scoreline of 1-4 in the most prestigious series of his tenure and one who is actually happy that his team competed well after a semifinal thrashing is re-selected. Indian fans should embrace themselves for another round of chokes and respectful overseas defeats. Don't worry. Thing's will truly change once and for all when India loses the 2023 WC, as hike favourites in front of home crowd. No bigger insult or outrage will ever happen if that happens. Considering, the past 3 WCs have won by home teams. Link to comment

Appropriate 100%, as if Kohli and Bewda having a laugh on all of us who had 1% belief that coach will change! Dhoni laughing in the background makes this a perfect commentary on current sad state of affairs in Indian cricket - I think its even worse than the Greg Chappell period. Next 2 years could be painful for Indian cricket with Kohli increasingly paranoid, insecure & fickle-minded, and some tough away tours coming up. diga 1 Link to comment

I got to give it to padosi journalists that they go all berserk while exposing the sham stuff while our lot is mainly reporting "according to our inside sources .........". Stop taking frivolous interviews. @rkt.india Hesson was the man who told Ross Taylor on his face that he isn't captaincy material & it would be better if he focuses more on his batting. I don't think such straight talkers will be liked in Indian cricket establishment. I honestly feel bad for Moody, the man has been applying for this post since the departure of John Wright & it feels as if it is decided that after Chappell saga Aussie coaches are a complete no-no for the national job.
