Have BCCI Idiots learnt nothing from that embarrassing episode of Lankan players wearing masks and Shami throwing up in his run up?

For messing everything, Vinod Rai and Diana Edulji will walk away with 4-5 crores each! What a disaster they have been for our cricket - lost our clout at ICC, messed up the state associations, broken NCA and pathetic scheduling - all in the name of cleaning up Indian cricket!

Gautam Gambhir expresses concerns regarding Delhi’s air quality ahead of the first T20I between India and Bangladesh

India set to train indoors due to Delhi’s 'very poor' air quality ahead of 1st T20I against Bangladesh

Delhi air woes won't see change in venue of the first T20I of the series between India and Bangladesh

1. Highly unfair on players, officials, spectators, fans watching from home.

2. Is it possible to play high level outdoor sports in such conditions? Is it possible to even have a proper outdoors practice session when visibility is such a problem apart from other health risks?

3. Ruining India's image, world sports bodies will get a certain perception of India when it comes to assigning future sporting events. Check how China changed Beijing's image over almost a decade before the '08 Olympics...then look at us.

4. Wrongest possible time for Delhi to host a match. Feb-March is a much better time slot, RSA coming here for 3 ODIs, 3 T20s in 4 months' time. Aussies as well I think for a short T20 series. Will it kill BCCI babus to let Delhi have a fixture then?

5. Wrong priorities during a time when locals are unable to live in the city. Insensitivity, height of arrogance to refuse to cede to requests to change venue. Dada and co. :wp107:

Teams like Lanka and Bangladesh will keep mum and play, their boards too are lightweight. If BCCI pulls this kind of stupid stunt when Aus or Eng tour, it will make front page news globally....damage to India's image will be permanent.

Ranji matches have been called off at Kotla in last 2-3 years because of unbearable smog and assault on lungs/eyes.

Imagine an international player entering the arena to this sight :frown: :puke:

As if the ugly ass stadium and stinking facilities weren't enough

Ganguly should have the sense to shift the match and give delhi a fixture in march-april....sadly, most sports bodies are filled with corrupt dynasts and blood-suckers with petty egos

Ganguly has given logistics as an issue to not being to shift the venue now.... Such a strong board and such childish excuses.

Paisa maaro association aur city municipality pe and make it happen. Its a T20 match ffs.

Whenever I see the main stand, I automatically think the stands have caved in the middle only to remind myself that it was constructed that way :facepalm:Seriously after watching this, @zen's idea of having Dharmsala as the northern venue sounds much more agreeable

Why can't they move it another location on short notice. Maybe it's too late now, but it could have been done couple of weeks back.

Of course the best solution would have been to not schedule a game in Delhi this time of the year in the first place

Feb-March are good for Delhi. Even Jan isn't bad  November is stubble burning month. April becomes too hot and we also dont play April onwards in India other than IPL.

Public health emergency declared, all schools shut till Nov 5.

BCCI cockroaches should be made to do 15 100m sprints at FSK, maybe then they will understand. Richest board lauda.

Instead of pondering over the international embarrassment following the 2017 SL test at the same venue, DDCA thieves must have been spending all the time looting the coffers dry and deciding on a replacement name for the ground. Not one of them had the sense to raise protest when the fixture was allocated?

On the positive side at least no Nov-Dec test in Chennai, Dharamsala or Gangtok this season. Maybe the scumbags will take care of that next year :eviltongue:.
