No its not.

Its blood lust. Its different that justice.

Not too long ago, a certain Mullah Omar of the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan after he strung a couple of rapists. Not saying we are there yet, but a parallel justice system is the absolute unravelling of the legal fabric that binds the nation.

When fast track courts take 10 years and then the President takes ages for giving final approval and when many death sentences get converted to sarkari mehmaans for life on tax payers money...this is bound to happen.

When courts give bail to criminals like prasad ,only for them to go after victims ....then this is bound to happen.

When we read a new case of gangrape followed by burning  everyday...this is bound to happen.

Nirbhaya's killers are still living off tax payers money while the family of the victim die a million times...this is bound to happen.

A few more such encounters will send a message to future rapists and victim burners  that they could meet the same faith.

More importantly ,it sends a sound message to the judiciary it sucks right now and things need to change.

Just hear how the normal sane people are reacting . There is a limit to people's patience with brazen monstrous crimes.

Police can't stop all rapes/murders, not even in first world countries. Stop insulting them, judiciary is a bigger * up when it comes to gender violence in India.

Why are Nirbhaya rapists alive? Weren't they convicted? Who exactly is protecting them? Have Modi's balls dropped off?

It was the President. Now they don't have a hang man.

I don't understand the  Presential appeal. Why go to  courts and waste time if President gets to have final say?

How is the president above the courts ...

God knows how many monsters have got away because Presidents have been sleeping on the appeal or may be don't believe in capital punishment.

Why become President if you can't  do the job?

hey where is any vigilante here. police was reconstructing the crime scene, all four of the accused tried to escape and the police man first shot towards the sky, then kneeled down on one of his knees and shot beside the escapee.. then finally all options exhausted he had to shoot the fellow to stop him from escaping..

its all fair.

And you believed their story.

People who want due process of law:

Avg lifespan in India is 70 odd years, if courts will take 50 years to come to a decision and another 30 years for Prez to give green signal, is that justice? Put yourselves in the shoes of the parents/siblings/children of the victim....

Ball is in judiciary's court (no pun intended)...either they watch helplessly while society delivers justice or maybe, just maybe stop being so useless in these matters. Same goes to the govt/Prez...if you don't eliminate violent rapists/murderers others will. Last hanging for rape was in early 2000s, Dhananjoy Chatterjee who raped and murdered a schoolgirl, 10 years since the last hangman of Bengal Nata Mullick passed away.

I think we are setting a precedent here. If the accused are nobodies, kill the accused.

If the accused are influential people, kill the victim.

That has also been happening but we don't see people showering police with flowers and  distributing sweets when victims are killed.

People of the country may not be able to do much other than watch...but they know and should be allowed to celebrate the killing of monsters because it is the people who get raped and burnt ...not the police or judges.

As far as people are concerned, 4 down and hopefully this will prevent some more commiting these crimes.

Even if it saves one victim, it is worth it.
