Has to be most improved batsman in last couple of months. From pretty avg to being considered very good or even great batsman already. He has to prove himself everywhere but i guess he has got that hunger and passion for cricket to be successful everywhere.

There was lots of artificiality in his batting today, trying too hard to imitate Steve Smith. He should focus on his natural strengths. This is his second year in mainstream cricket, the critical phase where you either get exposed or become a force.

I think...he is thinking too big of himself....

He should not worry about any expectations on him....

Not sure, if he is imitating Smith but definetly not natural and comfortable

Same doubt

why he is imitating Smith.

even when you watch this series in Amazon “The Test” he always try to impress Smith

probably because smith is the best batsman and has a unique technique.

Best Test batsmen period! Odis he has good innings in WC SFs and Finals in 2015. Overall not there yet in LOIs

This guy has an average first class record but has played spectacularly in international cricket..  having such disparities over a long period of time might be understandable but this guy has that difference in the begining of his intl career.. now does that mean that he finds International cricket easier? perplexing considering that Aussie wickets are very flat these days and yet he had an avg f.c record.

the easiest explanation is he more serious when it gets challenging.

that Glamorgan stint changed his career. Averaged mid 20s in the 5 tests he played before, but since then he is playing on another planet
