There is contradictions in the society. For example, one clear contradiction in the society is this that people hate Molvi, but not Islam. They don't vote for the religious parties, but they love to have an Islamic constitution. Other clear example is this that they talk about Islam, but they watch Indian films and Indian Dramas. I believe that Bollywood played the greatest role in bringing and introducing Indian Subcontinent culture to Pakistani people, and to the Afghani people, and perhaps also to the Bangladeshi Muslims. I see many Afghans are today able to understand Hindi, and it became possible only through Bollywood films. Actually, Bollywood inspired the Iranian and even the Arab society too to some extent. Especially women in Pakistan are very much addict to the Indian Dramas. I believe that Bollywood was able to spread it's message in Islamic countries while it propagated it's message from the secular platform. The Arab culture, or even the Iranian culture is almost foreign in Pakistan as compared to the Indian culture. But religion bring them closer to the Arabs and Taliban type Afghans. Therefore, there is again a contradiction in the society. Molvi type people, and the one who watch Indian movies/dramas, both hate each other in the same Pakistani society. Actually Molvi type people not only hate Indian movies/dramas, but they equally hate Pakistani movies/dramas too. Therefore, despite believing in Islam, still the clash continues in Pakistan between more religious extremists and the less religious people. Pakistan is a beautiful country and so is India and being a far bigger country, India has more places to visit. But , one thing you will not find in India, but only in Pakistan , particularly in Lahore, that's the hospitality but no animosity for Indians. You cannot say the same in India for Pakistanis. Considering India's history, particularly of last 1000 years, its understandable why majority of Indians hate Pakistanis but Pakistani has no such reason and they are fine with that. Even now-a-days, any Indian will feel very safe and welcomed visiting Lahore but that;s is not true for a Pakistani visiting India. I have traveled all over the world and would love to visit India, but being a Pakistani-American I don;t feel comfortable travelling India with family. That's doesn;t mean India is not safe otherwise, but only for Pakistanis. People from all over the world travel to India every years and not many go to Pakistan.
