Don't be fooled by the color, its a big scoring draw track...

Pitch has true bounce but aiding lateral movement. Indian fast bowler lengths will come into play and they will get seam movement. Nz will find it very touch. Expect quick bowling from all three.

Why do we always throw it away just before end of a session? Why why why :wall:

TM must dole out punishment to anyone doing something stupid in first 10 or last 10 minutes of a session.

Lol this is a spinach flavored pancake pitch

Very flat with a bit of bounce and slight seam movement. Just the one India can’t win anything on.

Wagner bowls pies and acts as if he bowled 150k lol..pussy.

The batsmen were clearly uncomfortable and rattled against him. He troubled Smith ffs. Must be doing something right

They are sitting pretty on a 1-0 lead, Indian pacers are a 3 man attack.  India will need a decent total on the board, and take 3+ early wickets, to put NZ under any sort of pressure.  And they bat deep.

And if my speculation is correct, the track will get increasingly easier to bat on.

Not saying none of that can't happen.  I'm desperately hoping that we scratch, claw and scrape somehow past 280, or 300.  That will give some semblance of a chance to our bowlers.

If only the Indian batting fudddus hadn't wasted Ishant's valiant efforts to get fit for T1, and given him something to bowl against.  What a pity.  The kid spent his entire 20s doing the donkey work for a weak bowling unit, coupled often with a batting unit that caved in.  Worked his ass off to come back from an ankle tear, and gave you a clutch bowling effort in the 1st test.  And all he got for it, was a batting effort that folded in like a cheap tent, and yet another test loss.

An awkward angle right at your throat at 130ks Is not fun for any batsman
