Morris for Umesh and Gurkeerat for Philippe and the team is genuinely competitive

Morris can get tonked as well but can bat. Phillipe is a keeper right? Pappu May be? But he is useless outside opening slot

AB might keep, that should sort out the team balance

morris has been good in death in leagues around the world, his batting has dipped strangely

if pappu plays he ll have to open

Finch is an IPL flop. Philipe can open. Drop finch for Morris.

Udana. Get udana in for these slow wickets.

These aren't wickets for slow bowlers bit for bowlers who hit the deck hard. Two paced wickets

Not sure they should play Steyn. Morris/Ali will add more balance.

Phillipe is good but should play as an opener. Make Finch play at 4 and AB at 5.

Drop Finch.

they wont drop him straight away, they bougt him for number of factors. Also finch is Plan A stick to that before changing it like every year

  • Experience in batting order apart from ab n kohli
  • captaincy help in field
  • an overseas player who plays spin well
  • Also to guide Padikkal while opening, phillipe is also very inexperienced
  • His international record

Phillipe was also played today coz of his numbers against Rashid in BBL , AB has been keeping during practice so he wud be soon keeping.

They ll atleast wait 4-5 games for finch to fail if they are winning, if loosing 3 games

As of now ill say stick to finch coz that was plan A for them, every year they panic n go to plan B....stick to it for a while

  1. Finch
  2. Devdutt
  3. Kohli
  4. Abdv
  5. Moeen/Udana (incase udana plays he goes to 7 or 8)
  6. Morris
  7. Dube /Gurkeerat (Dube, stonis kind of bowling might be handy on these two pace wkts)
  8. Sundar/ Shabaz (incase moeen plays then shabaz)
  9. Siraj/ Umesh (ideally umesh is more suited for new ball role but he is so ****)
  10. Saini
  11. chahal

If most of the guys do well and play fearlessly, RCB can pose a big challenge .... Under Kohli, is it that many tend to play cautiously for the fear of failure :dontknow:
