here are the stats for pujara overseas. his average drops to 37 from his overall avg of 46. note that he averages 56 at home. Even his away average is skewed because of his bullying of SL where he avgs 90

SENA averages for Pujara is 34 and if you take Aus away his averages drop to 28. Even his average in the recently concluded Aus series was 33 at a SR of 29 :yawn2: He is a blood sucking dracula alright. sucking the blood out of Indian fans and fans worldwide

If you exclude Australia, Sehwag's average in SENA falls to 24, including Australia it's 33.

During Sehwag's earlier career, WI was a force too and he did well against them. And he did well in Australia

He definitely had issues against the moving ball and it got reflected in SEN.

But the thing with Sehwag was a that ... in conditions which suited him, he was the biggest match winner with the bat in test matches. He just took.the game away from the opposition.

And we have never had a test batsman like him. His impact on the game on the days he did well, can't be compared to anyone else.

He has murdered Murali in his own den whereas Puji gets troubled by Lyon

Really! Pujara has won us single handedly on minefields. Scored against spinners when everyone else failed. He started to struggle against spin only recently. He is probably at his fag end and reflexes are waning. He has bashed likes of Lyon to every part of the ground in India. There was a time he was averaging in 70s at home. His batting in Delhi 2013 on a minefield against Lyon was an exhibition.

He only played against WI in 2006 which we won. WI wasn't a strong team at that time. They have not been a force in test cricket since last 20 years. Sehwag was great at home. No doubt about that. Probably the greatest home batsman for us.

Sehwag was great in Pakistan and SL too.  (  SL had Murali then )

Plus he had good debut test series in both South Africa and England.

THe world is about what have you done for me lately. Puji hasn't done anything after the historic Aus tour that's almost 3 years back. scroing against spinners is something Indians usually do. Its an indictment that Kohli and Rahane struggle against spin too. That doesn't mean he is some spin basher in India. Sehwag who is not even the member of fab 4 did that.
