Looks good. In India, he will be more useful. hasnt done that bad on debut at the gabba. picked the wicket of smith and kept one end tight. has the ability to land the ball on a dime day in and day out. Good potential but needs work on test matches. Also bats decently.

With time can get better (spinners can do well when they get older)

If there was an APPL (not Apple ticker but Andhra Pradesh premier league) I would be gloating by now.

TNPL has produced 2 test cricketers who are good enough to debut in Australia on the spiciest pitch :hatsoff:

All hail TNPL. @velu @Stan AF @Real McCoy @Forever Indian @bowl_out where is the gloating?

Whatta let down

Was traveling the whole day, unfortunately, missed the match..

Just caught up on the highlights... What an innings Washi :hatsoff:  Some of those drives off Starc were incredible :congrats:

As @Stan AF said, gloating silently as TN folks do :two_thumbs_up:

Even though he got Smith out, more than his bowling it was his batting that has impressed me. You can have all the shots in the world but if you can’t put that into the game and bat out tough sessions in test cricket, it is of no use.

Sundar’s calm batting style on display was brilliant last night. Showed class batting against both pace and spin of same bowlers who made it hard for the established batsmen like Rahane and Pujara to score runs yesterday.

The tour continues to show the great figjting ability of our players. They have all done well but this guy realy played an exceptional knock yesterday because we were looking at conceding 170 run lead at a point and Aussies would have been easily 300 runs ahead last night by the time session 3 would have ended.

That p’ship with Thakur will be remembered for a long long time by fans.

Great debut, balls of steel, took body blows, but never once flinched or jump around like a sissy.

Definitely contender for starting XI for Eng series if Jadeja or Ashwin not fit.

Let's just say he takes some crucial wkts and that gives India a huge chance at a win.  And then both Ashwin and Jadeja are fit to travel to Eng?  Do we just drop this guy?  Tough choices ahead.
